Amazing product. No skin reaction, very safe to use. I used this oil during my pregnancy twice a day around my belly, lower back and breasts and didn't get one single stretch mark. Highly recommend. Show details

I've used Bio-Oil and would like to share my experience. Upon application, I noticed an improvement in skin texture, with my skin appearing smoother and exhibiting a subtle radiance. I did not encounter any adverse reactions during the period of use. Notably, the product contributed to a reduction in the appearance of dark spots on my skin. Show details

Remarkable product! – I had an altercation with a neighbours dog who accidentally scratched my face quite deep! It happened Sunday night. With Christmas season coming up I was absolutely devastated that this happened, so started putting this on the morning after. I can see a marked difference already in only 4 days of using! Really, really impressed! Show details

Not a single stretch mark! – A friend of mine recommended I try this to moisturise after one too many late nights. I used it on my face for 3 days but stopped because I started to break out in acne so it wasn’t ideal for that. FYI I have combination/oily skin. Started using the Bio oil again during pregnancy on my belly area from the beginning of the second trimester. Rather… Read more

than put it on twice a day though as the instructions said, I only did it once, after showering because it was easier. I did break out on my belly but I persisted and kept using it and eventually the acne settled down. I did not get a single stretch mark and every baby appointment I had, I got compliments about it! I’ve had the baby now so the size of my belly has gone down and yep, I still don’t have any stretch or sag marks so I’m pretty happy about that!

I wouldn’t use the Bio oil on the face too often because it’s so oily and obviously, that’s what’s caused me to break out. But every now and again would be ok. And I found that using it on the belly once a day rather than twice was enough, which is great because the bottle ends up lasting ages! My 200mL bottle has lasted over a year!

Seriously allergy, itchy rashes during pregnancy – When I was pregnant for my first daughter 8 years ago, I switched to bio oil at the last few months of my pregnancy, thought it’s a good product. My tummy has developed a serious rash, itchy and burn, it didn’t happen immediately after I use the product but over probably a month, that’s why I never related to it, and it got worse and worse, I… Read more

couldn’t sleep because the whole tummy is itchy and burning pain, at the end I had to have induction to get baby out earlier. I still used it for few months after birth, and it didn’t caused rash anymore. At that time, no body related the rash to the bio oil, doctor suspicious it was pupps. This year I was pregnant with my second daughter, I started to use bio oil again from just before 2 months pregnancy, then itchy rash developed again just before 4 months. By chance, I tried the little palmers sample, the first night, I could go to sleepy without itchy. Then I kept using palmers, few days the itchy gone and rashes faded. Then I suddenly recognized that the thing caused me so much pain in the first pregnancy is the bio oil!!! Very very angry!!! My skin never be the type of sensitive skin, never allergic to any other cream or oil. But this product caused me so much pain and I had to have my daughter put earlier. This product is just dangerous, and should not be sold in the market! Pregnant ladies if you developed rashes and are using this product, switch immediately!

Bought for stretch marks and elasticity of the skin – As with a lot of people I purchased this product with the hopes of reducing the sight of stretch marks which I got from puberty and weight gain, and now have been using it to help with the elasticity of the skin with weight loss. With regards to stretch marks, if they are new stretch marks (still purple) then they have worked well for me… Read more

historically. After applying this oil multiple times on fresh stretch marks, the purple marks seemed to fade without any scarring. However for old ones they don't seem to do anything at all, as they do not seemed to have visibly reduced after a few months of use.

It does seem to work well at alleviating dry skin. If I apply it in the morning, by evening time the skin is still soft to touch. Due to this I have been using it as I have been losing abit of weight recently & hoping that it tightens the skin. So far so good. Have used other brands of oil such as palmers etc. Although this is more expensive it seems to keep the skin softer for longer and doesn't feel as greasy.

There are no miracle cures in a bottle, but shouldn't disappoint you as long as you take it for what it is.

Brilliant stuff – As an ex self harmer I am covered in scars and I have used bio oil on and off for years and it really does work, I have noticed a big improvement in my old scars and some of them are quite deep, it may seem a bit expensive but you don't need to use much of it and it should last quite a while, Show details

Don’t use on sensitive skin – I used Bio Oil on my hands for a month and got great results, then to my horror I used it on my dry legs that’s where the problems began, at first there was a slight itch which after 3 more days use suddenly bloomed into full blown dermatitis, the rash was terrible plus my legs swelled to an alarming size so I went to my doctor who told me to stop… Read more

using in his words this dangerous treatment after two weeks of medication my legs finally healed. My mistake was thinking it was ok for my hands it was safe to use elsewhere so if you have sensitive dry skin on your legs stay away from this product

Do not use if you suffer cystic acne – Despite information advising otherwise, this is not non comedogenic. Vitamin E alone is not good for cystic acne. It's an extremely difficult condition made worse by statements that do not apply to this terrible skin problem. It may work on scars, but avoid the face at all costs of you are also afflicted with this condition.

it worked for me – i recommend using this product .bio oils not thick like normal oils ,it's much lighter ..less greasy feeling if that makes sense? cause I'm not a fan of oil but this oil texture is different. since using bio oil my dark scars from years and years ago, are disappearing !!!! atm the ones still showing are very faint now( these scars were the… Read more

REALLY BAD ones..worse then the others) . ive only been using it for 5/6 months, once everyday at night after a shower .. and let me tell you ..

I'm an island girl and I have been bitten by mosquitos all over my legs and feet ! I'm very fair so the scars were very dark and stood out ALOT ... I was insecure about the scaring I wore long skirts and pants ALOT .. now since bio oils working ,I'm happy to wear shorts or a normal skirt again ..

I'm going to keep using it until those faint scars disappear (: this is a 10/10 for me .. if your an island girl with "scabby scars " use this .

It has not changed the colour of the scar or skin tissue after using for 1 year – I am 73 and had 3 ulcers on my leg. I used bio oil after the ulcers healed because they left a dark mark on my leg. I used it constantly morning, noon and night for 1 year and used 2 bottles. In that time I may have missed the middle of the day or maybe one or 2 nights during that time. The scar still looks the same and the colour has not… Read more

changed. It has not made any difference to the damage on my skin. I tried so hard to make this work but for me it did not make a difference. I am thinking maybe baby oil may have worked the same. I like to be fair in my evaluation of the product but really it made no difference and I am sorry it did not work after so much effort.

There is a considerable difference in depth of wrinkles – I am so glad I found this product - after 3-4 weeks (and I am now up to 8 weeks) there was an immediate change in the depth of wrinkles around my mouth (always so ageing!!) Disappointment – With devoted and regular use, you see absolutely no results for decreasing appearance of stretch marks. A waste of money. And it was much more expensive than other tissue oils Show details

Less is More! – Have been using this product for all 3 pregnancies, found that it helped nourish the skin be reducing new stretch marks. Don't forget elbows and knees! I like to use just enough and add a barrier cream on top to lock it in. For me i don't recommend it on the face, my face got irritated. Show details

It tries to be gel, but fails miserably – Bought this due to its Urea content and it's supposed 'Gel' consistency. On initial inspection it looks kind of like gel until I dipped my finger in, and there was an entire layer of oil, so I pushed deeper and the 'gel' was just more oil, I don't know how something can look somewhat like gel but feel so very greasy. Show details

Worked wonders – I used bio oil a couple of years ago when it first came out, I had some really bad scars/scabs all over my legs from excessive itching.. brought bio oil and within 3-6 months they had gone. Really was a life saver and I currently use it while pregnant to prevent stretch marks around my tummy and haven't had any new marks. Great product! Show details

Love bio oil - currently using roaccutane – I am currently on roacutane so you can imagine how dry and sensitive my skin is. I use this on my face at night time after my moisturiser. It really helps and I would recommend. I do struggle to find products that I can use on my sensitive and easily reactive skin and bio oil is a must!  Show details
