Rubbish – Worked great the first time and then gradually went downhill from there. After only 5 uses in a little under 3 years, it stopped spraying from both the floor nozzles and the hand-held attachment, which after having looked at online forums seems like a common fault with these machines. than 3 years or 5 uses. These machines are almost impossible to clean, and when you weigh up the hassle of having to refill the water dispenser at least 4 times for an average size room, you're better off hiring the ones at the supermarket.

Good for carpets and upholstery – Cleaned some very grubby carpets and sofa with this machine and, considering I normally pay upwards of $150 twice a year to get them done professionally, this machine does a very good job. surprised me is many sales assistants weren't surprised by what had occurred with my bissell, mainly stating "the more features you have, the more that can go wrong". I bought a new machine, but told I should inform bissell as it could have caused a fire. I rang to provide feedback, but customer service only wanted to give me maintenance contacts at my cost. I stated I wanted to provide feedback only not get it fixed in case there's a fault which could cause a fire (reinforcing I hAve already bought new). brushes are so powerful you can see how deeply it cleans. It was definetly money well spent! Only problem is, it cleans so well you can't just clean a small spot, otherwise the clean spot stands out very clearly! Easy to use, removes stains so easily. The hand held tool's pipe does not have a proper attachment to hang it on. Easily fixed with a rubber band!
