Bissell Power Wash Deluxe 1694F

Absolute rubbish – Godfreys told me at the time it was their best machine and at 699.00 I would have a great machine...not! The belt goes in them, they are only for low profile carpet and when hubby took it apart he was shocked to see how bad they are made, made in China, stay clear, very upset.

total waste of money – only used mine 3 times Total 3 hours, kept spotlessly clean after each use, trouble from day one, pump gone,

Bissell and machine now at the local rubbish tip.

Have since been out and bought a Vax Ultra Rapide 2 - see review for that machine it worked well - the first time only Repaired 5 times, 6th time took it to the tip :(

trouble. It does need to be keep clean inside and around the brushes for best results. Easy to use, solid, cleaver tank in tank design Too many exclusive product lines which all do something similar. Deliberately difficult to compare between retailers.

carpet looks fresh and revitalised. Several shades lighter! Did away with some serious looking stains.

The carpet dried in a few hours on a cool day.

It was easy to assemble and use.

The tank wasn't heavy when full.

The spot tool is great for stairs and car. Yet to try it on furniture.

Cons:

I had to empty the tank three times covering a space 3x4 metres but it was heavily soiled so it may not always be like that.

The shampoo doesn't go that far accordingly and I had to buy another bottle to finish my living room. It's not a massive room. The shampoo is also not cheap (but I was pleased with the result so I'll wear that).

There were still some marks it couldn't get, mostly food colouring. Will need to try something else on those. good result, did away with most stains, easy to use and assemble had to change water a lot, went through a lot of soap, didn't get out all stains

Terrible – I bought this from a Godfreys store - they are great when you're buying a product - but not so friendly when it breaks down! great - got it out to use it a second time (we only have carpet in 4 bedrooms) it wouldn't work - took it back to Godfreys - who assured me it was working fine ( any dimwit could see it wasn't ) - phoned Bissell directly who organised a courier to come and pick it up and deliver it back - great service from them by the way! - it needed a new pump and belt - worked fine again - but now the same thing has happened - Godfreys really don't want to know about it - so I'm back to ringBissell again - the only thing is it takes about two weeks for the repair to happen and get it back to me !!! it just seems so much trouble.........

not happy at all !!! I wish I hadn't bought it !!!!! it does a fantastic job - but only when it's not being serviced! I've owned this for 7 months and it's being serviced again!

Great product – I bought my Bissell Power Wash Deluxe 2 years ago and have used it many many times without any problems. It works great, no complaints here. works ok, not as good as the carpet cleaner which is what we bought it for anyway. Heaps cheaper tha paying for professional cleaners every 6 months. Great value, works well. Cord could be longer.
