Cons: lid sections on the cutlery container doesn't fit standard cutlery
Overall: I did a lot of online research to replace my Whirlpool which had died after three years. Most of the new dishwashers take two hours or more to do a proper wash cycle. Most that have short cycles only rinse, or don't dry. I'm too busy and have too many dishes to wait two hours plus for a cycle to complete. This Blanco is one of few dishwashers that has a 1 hour cycle. It gets the dishes very clean in that time, and the dishes are also dry. It has a very cool large knife rack and the interior space is well designed and I seem to be able to get more in it. They only downside is that the cutlery container lid doesn't fit ANY of my cutlery. It's nothing fancy - just Matthew Williams but the bottoms and tops of all knives, forks and spoons are too wide to fit in the lid sections. So I have had to take the lid off. It still works but you don't get the separation that ensures a proper clean. The price for a European appliance was cheap ($610 at The Good Guys).
Cons: Stainless steel front easily gets dirty and is a bit hard to clean, but that's probably normal with ss.
Overall: It is a quiet machine, with good features such as adjustable height on the upper tray and adjustable rows on the bottom tray (to allow pans and pots) and also time delay, so you can set it before you go to bed and have it done and ready to empty in the morning.
Overall: We recently purchased this Dishwasher and couldn't be happier with it. The dishes come out sparkling clean everytime, and with adjustable drawers, there is anything that won't fit into it. We have run it at night on occasion and are thoroughly impressed with how quiet the machine is.
