Good – Great little scooter. Considering it's just a 50cc, it is very light & quick with decent amount of storage space. Fuel consumption is awesome, you would never guess how far you long you can use it with it's little 5L tank. Very light, fast, very reliable. It's still just a 50cc, so sometimes it lacks a bit more power.
sometimes they are on the side of the bike not the sump and they are usually around 17 mill spanner size so take a look at a bolt that size - good luck
Where can I ourchase a jolie 50cc carby
Good value – Easy to ride and great for learners.... Fuel lasts for good while in easy going conditions. Perfect for city adventures..... Slightly slippery in the wet but avoidable with safe approach on corners and round snouts... Well worth the 2200 including on road cost...good dealers and 4 year warranty... SEE The lads at the scooter shop in Darwin for a good deal and great customer service and good mechanics.... gets me from A to B with out a drama.... cops don't waste their time with you because they just don't go quick enough but you will notice you will never get let past a RBT because they are commonly brought for hire businesses and attract backpackers head lights are a but dim and not broad enough.... looking into led upgrade will let you know how it goes and cost...
Doesn't sound like an independent review but more like a salespitch...
Excellent – This scooter is ideal for general local running around. My top speed was 78klm with a tail wind, so you won't be able to challenge any motorists out there. It's brilliant because you don't need a bike license (just your car license) and this model is quite good looking and smart. Rego is $197.50 (Qld) and my comprehensive insurance was under $100 ... of course that can vary. It small and compact with heaps of storage. Perfect for uni students. My first love of the Jolie is its size. You can park it anywhere, under a tree, next to a post, near a door, and it's never too obtrusive for anyone to get annoyed about. Second, I get 30klm to the litre, give or take, so it's really economical. That's the reason I bought it in the first place. Thirdly, there is a huge storage area under the seat, enough for a helmet and more, so between that and the top box I have on the back, I can carry quite a bit of shopping. The main letdown is its lack of power. For general running around it is a beaut, but if there is a big hill you have to climb or an 80klm zone, you can become a traffic hazard. I always plan my trips away from the main roads or I tuck in behind a big truck so no one can get upset with me.
Good – Great little buy and for $2200 including on road costs (6 months rego) what more can you ask for. As long as you are not intending to go on freeways or into 80kmh+ zones you will be fine with this little beauty. Great for what I need, I travel close to work (within 15 min walk) and to friends who all live local. It is cheaper for me to run my Jolie then it was to catch buses, and considering the bus only used to cost me $12 a week that is saying something!
Can park it anywhere, does not become intrusive, easily kept in a single garage with a car as well. Easy to clean control on the roads and the speeds of 60-70kmh are all you need in a little 50cc. My only complaint is my friends think I look a bit silly but I disagree.
