Bootiq Duke

Loved this versatile pram – We loved this pram for our kids. It was so hard to find a good reversible pram, this one was perfect. Easy to fold away and keep in boot of car. Easy to push. Bassinette great for sleeping baby. We found it very practical. Under pram storage was fine for us. Also was great for shopping centres as it is not as big and bulky as other prams.… Read more
Versatility, storage, east to push, not bulky. Doesn't have a bassinette that can be transferred into car seat without waking baby. Wasn't a problem for us though.
Disappointing – I purchased this pram based on looks, and being a first time mum I thought this pram seemed practical. In the store it was easy to manoeuvre. However once bub gets heavier and even gets to toddler age the manoeuvrability becomes more and more difficult. I was highly disappointed after 3 months of use I noticed parts of the pram coming off. basket was hardly used and was tearing. And when I went to start using the seat I realised it did not recline and found myself on the hunt for a new pram because baby had outgrown the basinet but was a small baby and required to still be laid down.
Huge disappointment. This pram was technically used as a basinet and that's all! What an expensive basinet!! I did try to have the prams faults repaired under warranty however that meant going without a pram and it all became too hard.
About to have another and have kept this pram to use as a basinet and then I'll be donating. I wouldn't buy bootiq branded prams at all, for the price that they sell for there are much much better prams on the market such as a baby jogger city mini. The pram looks nice Small basket, seat doesn't recline, poor manoeuvrability
Terrible – Terrible pram. For the price there are many prams which provide better value, and have all the features of the Duke. Bassinet is comfortable, has extendable handle. Seat doesn't recline, so when your baby out-grows the bassinet or when your baby falls asleep you can't recline and baby ends up hunched over. Also, all operation requires two hands at… Read more
one time. Using the sunshade on the bassinet as well as removing the seat or bassinet requires two hands. It isn't easy to manoeuvre with one hand, if you need to pick your baby up.
Looks Great but! – Great looking pram, folds easy, but not very practical, very hard to steer, small storage basket, seat/bassinette always seems to feel unstable and seat doesn't recline for when baby falls asleep. We haven't had our pram 2 years yet and the frame has snapped at in half when we tried to put it up!!!!! Beautiful looking pram, love the bassinette and… Read more
that you have the option to have baby facing you or away Hard to steer, small basket, seat doesn't recline if baby falls asleep, and the frame snapped when my husband tried to put it up!!!!!!!
Look elsewhere – For the first 2 months this pram was excellent. We took our 2wk old daughter camping and she spent the entire trip asleep in the bassinet which she loved. While stationary this pram with the bassinet feature is fantastic, it's narrow enough to be beside you at a coffee shop while not being intrusive and you can use in while baby sleeps at a… Read more
friends house. However, manoeuvring the pram to either of these places can be painful, as steering it requires a licence near I or the many family members who has tried to push it, have.
All operations for the pram take 2 hands including moving the sunshade, putting it up and down and I can't hold my 3yr old daughter's hand and push it at the same time.
There also isn't anywhere to put a nappy bag, the basket underneath is only big enough to hold a travel size bag (A4 size) a change of clothes and a water bottle. As baby has become bigger the bassinet seems to be unstable, placing a loaf of bread or bottle of milk near her feet makes it tip to a scary level.
I haven't used the seat feature of the pram yet but I do like the concept of being able to face baby either way. There is conflicting instructions on what age the seat is appropriate for with both 3 months and 6 months being stated.
While this pram seemed like a good buy at first it's proved to be a waste of money. *bassinet feature *adjustable height for handle bars *narrow width *hard to manoeuvre *requires two hands for everything * creaks while moving * small basket *no where for nappy bag *bassinet never feels to be inserted correctly
Excellent – i love it! perfect size not bulky at all,no pump up tires, very straight forward and simple to use. smooth ride, its easy to fold and unfold and is lightweight i cant fault it, awesome pram . Worth every cent. easy to set up, swap seats from bassinet to toddler seat, looks great and easy to maneuver around. small shopping basket Show reply
Good – Overall depends on each person needs. As for me the bassinet was awesome, no complains, other than the basket and seat not reclining all the way, its an excellent pram and worth buying...Not a good idea for using on buses though, definitely need a stroller. Easy to change between bassinet and seat. padding is very comfortable for baby. has a great… Read more
sunshade. easy to clean. Folds easily and is not heavy at all. when folded put put both pieces on top of each other saving so much boot space seat doesnt recline all the way back..small basket too. and if you put too much shopping bags on handle the wheel balance stuffs up...need to find a way to put nappy bag.
Bad – I am returning mine to the retailer and exchanging for another brand. For the money spent this is very disappointing. I thought the bassinette option included was a great idea, and it worked well for the first three months. The front wheels have a habit of locking, the stroller doesnt recline, the shopping basket is small, the extension arm creeks.
Terrible – It is a great looking pram and I get many compliments on it. However, I do have to tell people not to waste their money. The bassinet is really great and easy to use. The toddler unfortunately does not recline, not great for sleeping baby. The toddler seat is too big for a 6 month old and yet the bassinet is too small for baby at this age. The… Read more
shopping basket is way too small. The sunshade is too small.
I do like being able to switch the toddler seat around and I do find it easy to put and down and put in teh car. The wheel base also fits through most shopping aisles.
But I would have to say that I am sorry I bought it. I am not happy with it and there are many other great prams out there. It is just not a practical or useable pram. Spend your money on something else! Comes with a bassinet, looks good and has nice design. Toddler seat turns around so bubs can look either way. toddler seat doesn't recline, small shopping basket
Terrible – Nice pram to look at, great colours. The bassinet is ideal for a sleeping baby, but overall not great to manouver. We purchased this pram as it looked great and we liked the idea of a bassinet. The bassinet is great, our son has just outgrown it at 7-8 months. We used the bassinet at friends houses. Great colours. Fits well in the car. Our prams… Read more
wheels lock together and is hard to manouver around. The pram seat didn't seem suited to a small baby if your baby outgrows the bassinet early.
