NOT IDEAL – Use it on hard floors and carpet. Ok on hard floors but the brushes don't always rotate and I have cleared any possible blockages. The hand held tool is useful though for stairs and "bits" on the floor. Easy to empty. Fortunately I have mostly hard floors! Just replaced it with a Dyson but will keep the Bosch for the hand held function.  Show details

RUBBISH – Honestly this is like a kid's toy hoover............not much suction at all and very flimsy...........it is going back to the shopping channel as soon as I can re wrap it. Don't waste your time and money on this. Cheap plastic casing and tools, the crevice tool just stays in the crevice and has to be re fitted every time you move it, the whole thing is about as cheaply constructed as possible.  Show details

Should have been tested first – Fortunately not a lot but it is carpet with a descent pile so cannot push it you can only pull it backwards it's ok on hard surfaces though and the suction seems fine but who on earth tried and tested this for you like this cleaner they should replaced. Don't think you will reply to this just like all the others who have said the same it's no good on carpet  Show details

Oh Hell – This the worst vacuum I have ever had the displeasure to meet. Do not buy this waste of money. Suction is poor, the ability to deposit the waste into the dust collector is a bad joke. The only saving grace is the hand held section which is fine. try the Shark instead.  Show details

Better than I thought it would be – Cordless but still has plenty of suck when used like a normal vacuum. Not so good when you take the hand held part away. But I think that is more of the design of the hole it sucks through. It works great as a push vac. Charge station is a breeze, keeps it charged so we can use it frequently. Handle folds in half so it can be put under a bench… Read more ·  1

too. It's not designed to do a whole house in one go. We have a main vacuum for that. But this manages all the tiled area really well. Easy to maneuver with a good swivel head.

The 'bin' is quite small but easy to empty. It's surprising how much lint and dust gets sucked up as it is all visible.

Very Dissapointed – Totally Useless on carpets with a decent pile.Suitable only for hard floors.Cannot be pushed even with force Should have been stated on the box & advertising. I have always thought highly of Bosh we have an excellent washer, also electric drill & sander, from 1988. Do not think this up to Bosch staandard. Pauline R.  Show details

Luv it it has all i need – I needed a litet, upright,(for OAP) easy storage, easy to empty, corrdless with tool and with attachment for car, at low price..This is it. Bosch was in an end of line sale. I teested it in TJ Hughes store for weight & power & usage. I have found it * easy to carry and bend , cordless , item with 2 suction levels and removable tool for car *… Read more ·  1

on lowest strength, consumed everything on 2 room carpet (30'x15') and uncarpeted hall way. Will do our stairway with tool or stick

* folds away in to a small cupboard , where it can be charged

Only downside

* low capacity filter basket.BUT as it only takes 2 mins to empty &replace I will do 2 rooms, empty, then 2 rooms. No prob

* It needs a light to indicate when the battery is fully charged. the ratio between use and battery would help. Maybe Bosch dept could tell us. eg Used at lowest level for max of 30mins . How long is recharge for this. Or what is ratio of time of use to length of time of battery recharge.

Poor storage waste of time – It is ok if you have a bit of fluff to hoover on a hard floor, absolutely useless on rugs/carpets, BUT, what annoys me the most is the storage of the hoover. It wont stand up so, now has my walls marked and is always sliding/crashing down despite how well I try to balance it.. It does say handle folds for easy storage,... except to do that you… Read more

have to have enough floor space to lay it down and then you cant charge the thing as handle folds over the charge point...Really Bad Design Bosch. My sister has one that has its own charge stand so always charges when in it...why was this changed??

Ideal! – Bought this for my smallish work living quarters that has low grade/profile carpeting. I have no storage space for a larger unit. I find it easy to use, easy to keep clean and easy to store. Basically, no hassles and it does what it is designed to do. I do keep the filter clean for maximum performance after each daily use. For larger jobs, I have… Read more ·  2

to use the company equipment but that only happens twice a year. I will be purchasing one of these 2in1's when I return to the states (or buy a compatible power transformer for use on 110v)!

I am happy with mine – Does what it is supposed to do, I am very happy with mine, I bought it November 2015 and it has not missed a beat. I use it for small clean ups or a quick clean in the kitchen or bathroom as it is much easier and lighter than bringing out the big vacuum cleaner - good on carpets as well. I am very happy with the overall performance.  Show reply

Worst product I bought. Waste of money – Worst product I have bought. Was happy when I saw it in store suction seemed to be good. Really good on my back and easy to use. After a few months didn't have much suction. Have to empty filters about 3-4 times every use. Put up with it for long enough and am over it now. Would not recommend to anyone. Very disappointed.

Handy dandy – For the occasional clean ups, and versatility of the removable hand held vacuum, this is a good option. Not as strong as a barrel vacuum but for its type it is pretty darned useful. It has a decent motor and vacuum suction, it's manoeuverable and very easy to place back on the charger. Quick and easy to store and to use. Well designed, overall.  Show reply

Switched from Electrolux Ergorapido to the Bosch - very happy – My 12V Ergorapido's brush stopped rotating after a little more than 2 years, so I needed a new one. Even though my Ergorapido's performance was fine before it died, my parents had bought a newer model and needed to put it in for warranty repair only a few weeks after they bought it. I noticed these issues were quite common when looking at reviews… Read more ·  2

and didn't want to risk it.

Even though there weren't many Aussie reviews for this model, I translated the feedback on Spanish Amazon and they seemed great. Got it for a great price at 2nds World Online (new model) so thought it was worth a go.

Firstly the negatives - the space for the dust etc. is a lot smaller than the Ergorapido. Because I have pets I need to empty it halfway through my vacuum even though I only live in a studio style flat. It doesn't bother me thought - frequent emptying is to be expected from stick vacs (this is a bit more than normal though).

Also - it's not super easy to manoeuvre due to the dust buster/middle section being so heavy. It kind of falls to the left or right and takes a bit of strength to just keep it steady. I definitely noticed it tired me out a bit more than using the Ergorapido. When using the dust buster by itself you have to keep pressing the button, which is also a bit annoying.

The positives - great suction, which is obviously the most important thing. It's easy to roll on my floors which are vinyl.

I'm very happy with first impressions. It does what it's supposed to. I recommend anyone buying a stick vac to empty and clean the filters and brush regularly - that's how I maintained suction on my last stick vac and will do the same with this one.

I'll update this review in the future if I have any problems.

A good move!! – Bought this in the berry to replace my long suffering Ergorapido (Electrolux) - was a little wary as no reviews on it as yet but pleasantly surprised when it arrived and I had it up and running! It is seems to have a lot more grunt than my old Electrolux (even when it was new!), is quiet, lightweight and easy to manouevre and clean - all in all a… Read more

great little unit that works well on wooden flooring and rugs in my place - a happy little camper! Lightweight, easy to manouevre, versatile and looks good to boot!

Very bad suction, always cleaning filters – First time I used this machine seemed pretty good so I recommended it to my sister. Then after that I found to do my house (which is quite small) I had to empty it and clean both filters at least twice or it would suck up nothing even when the filters are clean it wouldn't such up anything remotely heavy or large, for example it would not such up… Read more

a cm long thin twig or most things over the size of a match stick head. It did seem to suck up dust quite well but the dust would stick to the filter straight away so you lost suction. Also I gave away my dust buster as this machine has one and even as a dust buster it is not very good. I pulled the cushions of my couch and tried to vacuum the crumbs and stuff that it gets in the sides, the machine sucked up hardly anything so I had to bring out my big nilfisk vacuum to do the job. You can also wash the filters which is good, but you will probably end up spending a lot of time washing them and waiting for them to dry. It is very easy to manoeuvre and is light. My sister is also unhappy with the machine and the only way I would recommend it is if you have a very small area, vacuum regularly and don’t need it to do a really good clean. I was really disappointed that Bosch would sell this product as there dishwasher, washing machines ... are such good quality products. Light, easy to use Bad suction, always cleaning filters
