German made, German performance – I walked into the department store and after my experience with the Electrolux Ultra Silencer said "only show me German made." And thus I ended up buying this feather weight, ready to use and capable vacuum cleaner. Only slight negative is that it doesn't have a brush attachment. Highly recommended. Show details ·  1

Buyer beware – We have purchased all our appliances from Bosch and have been committed to well engineered products. This vacuum cleaner lasted a short period of time starting with suction cutting out after 2 to 3 minutes now power goes on and no suction. Had the appliance serviced and worked ok for the first and second use but back to doing practically nothing… Read more

ever since. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM IF YOU CAN HELP IT. In addition the service extended to us from Bosch Australia has made us rethink our brand support which has resulted in our moving away from Bosch all together. this product and the service received in Australia has let down German Engineering… initially the fact it was a bosch product Now…everything including service in Australia from Bosch

Best vac I ever had – Best vac we ever had. Bought it in 2006 and sadly just broke it yesterday. Should never have sucked up all that dust (renovating). The bag overfilled and split and plaster dust went everywhere. Perhaps someone (who will remain unnamed) tried to empty the bag and re-use it? I have bad allergies to animal hair and we chose this vacuum so that we… Read more ·  2

could keep the pets. So far it worked really well on that front. Hope I can get another one. Lighter than our previous vac It was blue. I would have preferred white or cream.

Great vacuum – We have had this for a few months now. It is great. It picks up dog hair and chewed dog toys from the carpet and floor boards. The adjustable speed and power switch is easy to operate with your foot. The vacuum is quiet compared to the leading cyclonic vacuum ( its competition when we were buying), and adjustable. The wand is easily extendable.… Read more

The cord is long. It follows you easily. The head is easy to change between carpet and boards. The bag less insert and the filters are easy to clean. This vacuum seems to not block, our old one seemed to always block. The cord is long, it can easily do our three bedroom house from two power points. The cord retractor is great, and actually works. One complaint is that if you stretch the cord it retracts, this can be a pain while vacuuming.

The crevice tool that comes with it is not good at any of it's intended purposes. Cheaper than alternatives while we were looking. The multi crevice furniture tool that comes with it is rubbish, it should have separate tools.

Not so good – We went on the recommendation of Choice magazine some time back. We notice Choice hasn't mentioned them since! The power of the cleaner is quite poor and its filters get blocked very easily which reduces the power to almost nil! The lid hinge lug broke off when I was opening it to change the bag and Bosch said I had misused the machine and… Read more

refused to fix it. I had to ring the Australian repair manager and complain to get the part and fitting done on guarantee!!! Yes, this machine really sucks!! Nice blue colour....Good extendable wand. Good long cord that retracts easily. Bad warantee service. Poor power. Easily blocks. Flimsily built.
