Bosch got this wrong! – This pullout rangehood is quiet and effective. Good lighting. But the switches are hidden at the top, and the pullout function only operates the fan, and only at the speed setting you've left the switch at. Not the lights. So to operate the lights you need to grope around the top of it, where you can't see, to find the switch. Drives you mad. Quiet. Effective. Good lighting. The way its switches work is inferior to most brands on the market.

Extremely happy! – We bought a Bosch oven and rangehood because we love our Bosch dishwasher so much, and we wanted all our appliances to match. We couldn't be happier. This is a streamlined and unobtrusive slide-out rangehood. Powerful halogen lights. Quiet motor. Very effective and functional. Not mad about the controls being on top so that you have to feel for them if you're not very tall, but not really a big deal. I'd highly recommend it. Quiet. Powerful motor. Streamlined. Controls on top of unit. Pricey.
