Poor design, you need an electrician to replace the lightbulb on this model – One of the supplies halogen bulbs blew after 18 months or so. I didn’t worry about it at the time as I thought it will be a simple fix like every other rangehood I have ever owned. I took this job on today and was disappointed to read in the manual that this was not something that I could change myself. A electrician must change the bulb. It’s sealed inside a housing with torx screws. A called the store I purchased from and the guy told me, incorrectly (well intended) to pull it out from the bottom as he had never heard of a rangehood that you needed an electrician to change the bulb on. As it stands now I have to pay an electrician $100 and Bosch $76 to get this working again. This is a $900 rangehood that needs another $100 every few year spent on it to keep the lights working. A terrible investment!
