Deteriorating rapidly – Seemed OK to start with. However always seem to freeze vegetables in the base. Then the 'stainless steel' started to rust. Spoilt for luxury – I'm so happy with my new Bosch fridge. We plumbed in the water so no need to constantly refill the supply for ice & cold water. The internal water/ice reservoir is smaller than most competitors so allows more space in the fridge area.

Plenty of nooks & crannies to store my everyday items within easy reach. Good deep storage in the doors.

Strong glass shelves means items sit flat & don't tip over like on wire shelves. So easy to clean too.

It has a fabulous meat drawer just under the veg drawers which is excellent for the cheese, cold meats & other smaller items that often get lost in the big fridge compartment.

With the new scientific design vege drawers my veges & salads stay fresher for ages. I don't understand the science of it but it really works a treat. It's also brilliant that the whole fridge section is on top. I don't hurt my back all the time bending over to find things in the lower part of the fridge, & for that reason I love having the freezer on the bottom.

The freezer has an additional drawer that is so handy for things like pastry, frozen veg & all those other little things that tend to get lost in the depths of a normal freezer. The divider in the freezer also helps to keep items separate & in some kind of order.

However, i do wish the refrigerator was available in white as I find the stainless steel a bit of a pain to keep finger prints off.

The space inside, draw layout, chiller trays and depth is amazing, and we fill this thing up on a regular basis, so the cooling is tested daily, especially with the kids opening and closing the double doors all the time. The freezer is superb and freezes roasts very quickly, doesn’t frost up, and is great being at the bottom, with a fantastic top shallower tray, which we now use for the kids bottles, muffins, meals we are having that week and more, so handy.

We had to contact BOSCH customer service about an issue with the door trays, they were amazing, prompt contact, and after sending information to them, they rectified our situation so promptly, I was extremely impressed. The customer service is fantastic, the whole team (We had a few different contacts, all brilliant), we all positive understanding, and keen to see the issues sorted, and they were completely rectified.

We highly recommend this fridge, as the finish, ice maker, water dispenser area, all work perfectly.

This is a very large fridge, and we made a new pantry/alcove to fit it, but let me assure you, it is well worth the investment, I have never owned a fridge that you can put 24 stubbies in the middle tray at the back, and not know they are there, it is huge.

The operating volume is almost silent, we have an open dining kitchen area, and cannot hear it running at all, except for the alarm that goes off if the doors are left open, or slightly ajar, perfect, for forgetful teens, both the fridge and freezer have the alarm, which is great.

Cleaning is easy, the finish wipes clean easily, that said, it doesn’t really get that dirty from general use anyway, which is great.

When the time comes, another BOSH will be at the top of our list, all our friends are impressed, extended family included.

Highly recommended.

Fridge and Freezer lights not working – Our Fridge and Freezer lights have stopped working. The water dispenser and ice maker are still working along with the electronic display unit. Great product – This is a quiet fridge.doesnt feel even st kitchen Lot is compartment so easy to organise. Door function is poor though. It does not easily close . But the alarm is a good reminder. Freeazer on bottom is good . The chilller compartment helpful to thaw or keep short term food with out freezing. Vegetable baskets are big so , lot can pack inside.  Show details ·  1

I bought it to fit a large hole and don't regret the purchase – Overall very happy with this Refrigerator. Does everything we expected of a Refrigerator with this price tag. Haven't quite worked out how to remove The crisper and dairy drawers so we don't bother. They are easy enough to clean in place. Refrigerator runs quietly and the internal cabinet is well luminated using several banks of LED lights. the problem will only happen again within time. The finish on the fridge is terrible, and shows marks all the time. I have a rust spot from where the kids have gotten water and it’s spilled down the front. Is very hard to clean. Would not recommend this fridge at all. will be looking at other brands. Next point of call we will be contacting the ACCC to investigate further as this should of been a product recall by Bosch in my opinion as is a known common fault and the product does not last a fair and reasonable length of time.

not worth spending that amount on the fridge. The freezing problem had turned into a temperature control problem. The temperature would fluctuate from -3 to 8 deg! I decided to replace the board myself. Nothing changed. I then replaced the temperature sensor. It was reasonably stable for a couple of days then started freezing again. I contacted Bosch Customer Support, who quite often reply to these reviews and urge people to contact their 1300 number. They were no help at all as they don't offer "technical assistance". I am left with a 4 year old fridge which is not worth repairing (using service agents) and I can't sell! What happened to fridges that ran for 30 years without an issue! Following the review I was contacted by Bosch and I couldn't be happier. They sent the technician again, another part was ordered and replaced after a few days. Since that time the fridge has been great. Thanks to Bosch for their support.

Rubbish – Fridge is way below expectations. We'e had Bosch appliances efore but don't buy this fridge. Ice maker repaired twice, issue with ice building up to a point it leaks and doesn't work correctly. fridge have rust marks, so disappointed with a product we thought would be reliable. Well Bosch came through in December with the door tray thanks, and also promised a new tray and rust cleaner which was told came from Germany, its now 3 months on and am sick of tired of emailing the girl I was dealing with and getting no response.

Very poor fridge, definately not worth the money! – Ice maker lasted only 18 months before it died, RUSTY doors, only enough cold water from the dispenser for one glass then it's room temp and wait for it to cool down again and it freezes vegies. this fridge is a lemon – I also purchased this model 5 years ago and have no end of multiple and ongoing issues including freezing everything in the fridge, rusting doors, constantly cracked shelves to name a few....and despite having someone come out numerous times to fix the problems persist... the fridge is now outside of the purchased extended warranty period and costs a small fortune in up keep. Wouldnt buy one of these again – Constantly freezing up. Have to unpack the freezer to defrost every time. Chiller compartment freezes as well and have had to throw out ruined vegetables many times. A real pain to clean. You get half a glass of cold water from the dispenser before it runs out. The ice maker keeps making too much ice and jams up when trying to get the ice out. being set off during night for no reason and ice maker constantly leaking. We also have had rust marks show up on the stainless steel front. This is even after we regularly wipe and apply oil to the stainless steel. The fridge shows up all hand and fingerprint marks so you need to regularly wipe the fridge to remove marks. We have now just discovered that fridge is again leaking. This fridge is nothing but a pain in the butt. Spend your money on other fridge as this will give you problems.

I will say that the fridge is a good size and when it is not having problems it was working ok.

The repair man also informed us that they regularly have problems with this fridge. Make your own mind up but please bare in mind that many people have had problems with this fridge. If you are going to purchase then make sure you get extended warranty.

Very poor after market service – Washing machine faulty, error in less than three months. Local service man (great service) came out very promptly and said it had a cracked drum, and put through request for replacement. The best quality buy – Big capacity large deep shelves stainless steel finish always looks perfect, No finger prints smears and marks left behind. Over priced junk, avoid at all costs! – Bought Jan 2014, costing $4500. Had to have the ice-maker replaced in Jan 2015. quality, not designed to stand up to the rigours of having a milk carton removed & replaced a dozen times a day. We have a large Samsung fridge purchased back in 2008 that has seen far more use & abuse (outdoor beer fridge), and its door shelves aren't even scratched! Samsung will be getting our cash next time for sure. Oh, and the touchpad on the door to operate the ice machine & water, get used to pressing them many times before the machine decides to jump into action. Very frustrating. Bosch, you ought to be ashamed of yourselves for selling such junk & for selling out on the quality your brand used to be synonymous with. If you look online at any of the review sites, this fridge consistently gets very poor reviews. I would think that Australian Consumer laws could be well exercised in relation to this shonky product.

I notice their is a distinct pattern occurring on this website in regard to rust on these particular fridges so obviously Bosch is aware of the problem? We went to Harvey norman where we purchased the fridge and they assisted in dealing with Bosch to get a full refund ( after one month still no refund received even though Bosch have collected the Fridge). If you want the run around try dealing with Bosch they just have no idea about customer service we are extremely disappointed in the whole process (which continues) to save yourself any problems do not purchase Bosch refrigerators

Not Good Electronics – Had this fridge for 3 years ice maker went thank goodness while under warranty and serviced. Now a circuit board has gone on it a $500 repair if it works as fridge is out of warranty. Thought by buying quality brand and decent money would not be having problems. this units environment. Within the past month the ice box catch has snapped and now pushes out when the ice compartment is full. The ice is made non-stop - pushing out the compartment once it is full - maybe this broke the catches. Now it's out of warranty and while searching for spare parts I now see other people with the same issues. I will keep you updated on the progress and keep writing reviews until the fridge is working or go to consumer affairs. There are now water stains all over the fridge - the stainless steel they have used is extremely poor grade and is beginning to rust after 11 months even though we clean the fridge regularly with stainless steel cleaning products.

They are now saying that we have to clean this fridge religiously with THEIR product to keep the rusty marks away and WILL NOT replace the doors. stain/rust marks down fridge. Have just had entire ice maker replaced. Was fixed at lunchtime & I still don't have any ice at 9pm. Repair man gave me a cleaning cloth for rust. 1 shelf has cracked(repair man said that's not covered) expensive fridge been repaired too many times in 10 months. Very disappointed & certainly won't recommend Bosch to anyone. Bought a Bosch dishwasher at same time & can only use Fairy tablets in it otherwise won't wash dishes.
