Pros: Very quiet. Efficient. Fast. Good rising and cloths really clean.
Cons: Nothing. It would be nice if it had a beep when its done.
Overall: We bought this to replace finally the Simpson washing machine we got in 1989. The Simpson has been repaired a few times over the years but still did a great job of washing. But the bearing were really loud especially on the spin cycle so we decided it was time to retire the old thing.

I was very surprised to see the Bosch clean the cloths just as well as the old Simpson, even though it used much less water and was much faster. It is a very quiet washer, with only a barly audible high pitched noise when its on the spin cycle(which only lasts 5-10 min).

I was concerned about how well it rinses based on reviews here and choice magazine reviews, but I was not disappointed as it rinses well, and I can only assume the other people had put too much detergent. I use 1/2 to 3/4 of a scoop with this new machine.

Pros: Water and energy efficient. Not too noisy. Clothes seem clean, no better than our top loader.
Cons: Has let us down once, I hope it is reliable from now on. Some wash cycles take a long time.
Overall: We've had it for about 4 months now and it has broken down once after only a few weeks. The impeller on the outlet pump broke. The Good Guys at Edwardstown SA were helpful and it was fixed at no expense to us within a few days. We've had no other problems.
It certainly is not made in Germany, (Thailand I think) and the quality is no better than any other brand.
The 1100 rpm spin cycle gets the clothes reasonably dry and I like the easily adjustable options re: water temp, spin speed, pre-wash, etc for each load. The lower water temp settings use much less electricity.
This is our first front loader and they take some getting used to. It's much less user friendly than my old top loader which lasted for over 10 years. I hope the water saving is worth the hassle.

Pros: none
Cons: cheaply made, does not live up to expectations they are a load of rubbish
Overall: had top loader 18 yrs did not have a problem with it just worn out so decided to try a front loader after recommendation from friends & looking at reviews. Very disappointed with it found it does not wash properly, laundry powder does not dissolve, laundry liquid justs sits in dispenser which is very annoying, cycles are way to long & is very noisy when spinning. Have decided to donate to charity & go back to reliable top loader. They have come along way since the old days

Pros: Good value for money, very good performance.
Cons: Nothing really - had it for two years and no issues whatsoever.
Overall: Decided to spend a little more and buy a washing machine to last us. This one had very good energy efficiency and - as my previous front loader - spins quietly and really well. A good choice of programs lets me wash even suits and woollens without any problems. My dry cleaning bill have gone down a lot!

Cons: Expensive and working (but incorrectly) until the warranty expired & now I have to throw it away
Overall: Cons Very disappointed!! I have always bought Bosch appliances and have been very happy until I bought the Bosch Maxx. After 3 years it has stopped drawing water and technician says board & motor have both gone. When the technician looked at it he said that it should not begin working (turning) until you press start NO Bosch does. Well I think it has been doing this for at least 2 years because the board was malfunctioning (maybe from 1st year but I did not know and the wash was okay) and now the motor is totally ruined. Have to throw it away

Cons: All my whites have come out grey - and it's on a cold cycle? Quick wash is limited in its spin speed which isn't useful. If you want it to dry properly you need to have it on a 2+ hour wash.
Overall: It's a Bosch so you typically expect the best, but lately I have had nothing but trouble with them. I had a dishwasher with problems and this machine won't wash properly. It's been a bit of a waste cause I really need the faster spin cause I don't have much time on my hands. Shame most of their products aren't German made anymore - I reckon that could be why.
