Bosch professional plus hot water system issue – Hi All, We have a Bosch Professional Plus hot water system. Its about 8 years old. Recently it stopped working and no hot water got produced. I turned off power to system, also water knob, and opened a black 'filter' knob, atleast i thought it was.. Didnt really look dirty. Put it back and turned on system. It started to work again. But a day later it stopped again. I did same process of turning off and opening knob, and it started to work again.

Issue is that it keeps stopping, and now i feel I just need to turn off system for a while and turn it on again, and it works.

What's the actual issue and how to get it fixed, please help.

Gas usage problem – We had a bosh professional plus installed. Gas usage is excessive. Is this because it is a 200 m/joule machine compared to a 160 m/joule? Is the m/joule p/h dictate the amount of gas used. We are considering changing to a smaller machine to reduce the amount of gas used every quarter. Regards john

Excellent – I think it's the best system out there for the money. Used in Europe long before Australia ever heard of it and Europeans are much more energy conscious simply because it costs so much for gas and electricity over there. Had a Bosch 22E natural gas heater since 2002 and it's never failed to deliver once. Heats water evenly as we always preset shower temp and use only hot water. Saves a pile of money over tank systems which heat water all day whether or not you use it. Did a pile of research when I bought and liked the Bosch specs the most. Am about to replace a tank system in my investment property and Bosch will be the choice. Nothing so far. It's been 100% reliable
