Pros: Light and easy to use.
Cons: Service department wasn't very thorough in my opinion
Overall: I had a BR 34LI for just about 15mths. I like that its light and fast to move. It wasn't so great when I let the grass get long, or if it was wet. At the 11 month mark, it started to cut out. I took it back to Bunnings and waited 2 weeks to be told nothing was wrong. It was fine for another 1 month and then again started to cut out, and refuse to restart for long periods. I thought it was overheating but discovered that it would restart only when I applied downwards pressure on the battery. Eventually, even that stopped working.

Pros: Ease of use. Reliability. Light weight for lifting.
Overall: After fighting petrol mowers for over 40 years and watching the grass grow ever longer, I bought this Bosch lawnmower.

I mow every week now, my garden and lawn have never looked better thanks to the rain and my Bosch.

Take it from me, don't fight your old petrol machine any longer.

Get this mower, you won't regret it.

Pros: Easy to start, light to move around/lift, easy to maneuver, turns off if you let go (safer), quiet, doesn't smell, no cord, cuts well even on uneven ground or over weeds, can cut quite close to edges etc
Cons: Expensive, catcher can be difficult to empty as grass gets caught inside, may need an extra battery for larger lawn
Overall: Purchased this after reading many positive reviews both here and overseas. I must say that I agree with them. I have used it to mow the back and front yards and nature strip several times now. It does a very neat and even job. I was worried as some people had said it only worked well on good, even lawn but we have awful, lumpy, uneven and weedy lawn in the back, awful grass and lawn in the front and nice grass on the nature strip. It cuts all of it well. It even copes OK with the dandelion flower stalks (although I do have to mow them a couple of times in different directions sometimes to get them down) and with quite long grass. It cuts fairly close to a raised flower bed, tree trunks and edging if you take your time.
I find it easy to maneuver and light to lift up when I need to (although I need to remove the grass catcher if it is full before I do this as the full catcher adds quite a bit of weight). It even has a handle on the body of the mower to assist with lifting it.
It is easy to start (you press a button and lift the second handle/lever) and starts first time every time. It stops immediately if you let go of the handle/lever. The battery is also fairly easy to change.
The catcher can be a bit tricky to empty if it is very full but if you start the grass moving by pulling it out with your other hand it is not too bad. The clippings are of a nice size and even cut so you could use them for mulch or composting quite easily.
I have found that if you let the catcher fill right up the mower will eventually spit some cut grass out the front of the mower and turn off. It will keep turning off until you empty the catcher.
Also, the mower will simply stop when the battery charge gets too low. If the grass is of average to short length the mower will go for about 1 hour on a full charge. If the grass is longer or damp the time will decreased to about 40 minutes. I have purchased a second battery and keep both charged and simply swap them when one runs out of charge. Alternatively, if you want to save the coast of an additional battery, it only takes about an hour to get an 80% charge so you could take a break and/or do something else for and hour and then return to use the same battery again.
The mower is quieter than a vacuum cleaner.

Pros: Light weight, quiet, no fumes, convenient, quick, highly regarded brand name.
Cons: Expensive.
Overall: Usage: Usually mow either every week during summer, or once every three weeks during winter. Grass is Sir Walter grass, so it’s pretty thick.

Time since purchase: approximately 12 months

Comments:

- Purchased the 43 Li, the larger model with two batteries.

- The two batteries really comes in handy when needing to mow a medium sized yard, mine is approximately 600msq block, but reasonable amount of lawn. The two batteries isn’t always required.

- It is rather difficult to change the cutting level on the mower. And given it is constructed out of plastic, there is a concern that something may break.

- The catcher is only the slightly small side, but sufficient.

- It’s very quiet, and if anything, my Dyson may even be louder than my mower. I definitely feel less concerned about neighbors complaining in the morning about me mowing the yard.

- Batteries charge up relatively quick, 30 minutes to an hour and a flat battery will be fully charged.

- No fumes at all.

- There is a burnout prevention mechanism, which will stop the mower when there’s too much resistance in the mowing. This usually happens if you have really thick (you being lazy), the blades are too low, or the catcher is too full. This is a very important mechanism to have on any electric/battery operated mowers, as this’ll prevent the motor from burning out. Definitely helps, as the misses has no understanding of motors burning out, and just keeps mowing.

- Even the misses is mowing, it’s so light, easy to start and clean, it’s almost fun to use.

- Due to its lack of weight (being made of mostly plastics), it does have some trouble in cutting very low … if your grass is spongy.

- Very easy to start.

- Batteries hold their charge.

- There is a charge indicator on the batteries.

- The mower is so light, that it’s very easily carried with one hand, and can be easily lifted over head.

- The folding handle bars make for easy stow away.

- The funky handle bars are alright, and something different, but don’t serve great benefits.

- Mowing can be done with one hand with ease.

Pros: Light weight, easy to handle and carry
Cons: Not sure how the warranty will work with import to Australia
Overall: Read enough reviews before deciding to buy it. Mainly for it's light weight as I have a few patches of lawn that require the mower to be carried across.

Bought the 43 LI from Amazon Germany as they can organize shipping to Australia. All up around A$550 including shipping.

Used it a few times now and happy with the mobility and the cut, even on wet long grass.

Pros: Perfect
Overall: Every Lawn mower in future will follow this design leader.

Brilliant design, world class product. Lightweight, Efficient.

I purchased the Bosch Rotak ergoflex 43Li from Amazon UK, delivered to Australia. Came with 2 batteries.

Perfect constant speed. Stops immediately if grass catcher full or encounters an obstruction. Excellent electronic stall protection

I believe it uses regenerative techonoogy to recover the rotational energy of the blades at the instant it is switched off.
