Pros: Very reliable, very energy efficient, easy to use, multi-choice dryer settings
Cons: Remember to clean out the condensor at least once a month.
Overall: In 2008 I decided that I wanted a decent laundry system (washer & dryer), my partner and I looked around for ages (trying to decide which were the best possible machines to purchase), factoring in efficiency, reliability, ease of use, etc etc, as you do when making a $$$$ purchase. We ended up purchasing the 8kg Bosch Logixx Sensitive washing machine and the 8kg Bosch Logixx Maxx dryer. We have had no problems with either of these machines since date of purchase, and being that the washing machine spins at 1400rpm, it takes very little time in the dryer to dry your washing. Also, because the Logixx Condensor dryer is just that, a condensor, you don't need to vent the machine outside, it collects the moisture out of the washing and stores it in a convenient container at the top of the machine (that you need to empty at the end of each load) no moisture is released into your home. You do however, need to remember to periodically clean out the condensor, to keep your machine running smoothly.

Pros: Reliable, energy efficient, looks good.
Cons: Manual lacks info on settings
Overall: Killer condensor dryer. So many settings to choose from. The included manual doesn't say much about each setting...but you can figure it out. Super energy efficient with quick drying times. All water is extracted to an upper tank which can be emptied after the cycle. Lint filter is amazing and has made my clothes super soft. Pretty quiet so you dont notice its running. Great addition to the household appliances. Appliances Online matched the price from another store...cool!

Pros: energy efficient, does a great job on different types of washing, doesn't fry the clothes , no moisture in laundry room, easy to clean
Cons: discouraged by early problem with reliability, hoping we'll get past it
Overall: I absolutely loved this machine, but after a week of using it, something has gone very wrong!! When I begin a cycle it switches itself off within a minute - sometimes after just turning the drum two or three times. If I kept turning it on or off, changing programs etc, I could initially get it to complete the cycle, but after two weeks of this problem, I can't persuade it to complete any cycle at all.

I rang Bosch and the first lady that answered was quite dismissive and seemed disbelieving. The second man was very professional and courteous. I'm currently waiting for technician to come and see it and hoping that this is something that can be fixed and won't be recurrent or an indication of overall quality in the longer term

So, overall i reckon it is a great machine, reliability has yet to be proven but this is not a great start, after-sales care seems to to be mediocre or very good depending on who answers the phone.

Pros: Simple to use, loads of options which I am still trying to work out what they actually do.
Great for the environment.
Doesn't steam up the laundry
Cons: The manual is a little light on, so not really sure how to best utilise the many options.
Overall: Have recently purchased this dryer and am thoroughly happy with it. An expensive machine, but with a better than 6 star rating, it is fantastic for the environment. I dry all my towels and those clothes that I would normally iron. The towels are very soft and my ironing is vastly reduced, so even better for the environment and saves me loads of time.

It is a self-cleaning machine. Not sure what it cleans, but it is a simple job at the end of each load to clean the lint filter and empty the water. The filter is located at the front of the machine, so no reaching in to clean the filter at the back of the machine.

I love that my laundry no longer steams or warms up when I use my dryer so it can be run with the doors closed. Also there is no lint collecting around my laundry.

Pros: Everything, a cream of the machines, easy and perfect
Cons: Nothing, yet it is costly but if you want quality, this is it
Overall: Where is a quality, there is a price to pay, a part from that it is the best dryer as far as I know, it is compatible with Miele, Siemens if not better.
Manual is a bit of a funny paper ,but in the age of modern internet you find everything on internet if you are on more visual explanation.

Pros: Dries well, reportedly very, very cheap to run, large capacity, easy to empty lint filter and water tank, no steamy linty mess in the laundry (common to all condensers). Six starts energy rating!!
Cons: not really a dislike, but it would be more convenient for us if the water condensed from the clothes drained away with a hose rather than into the tank.
Overall: We did not look at any other dryers other than Bosch condensers as we needed a condenser (no duct or window in the laundry)and wanted to stack it onto our Bosch front-loader so the Bosch dryers are the only option.

This machine looks great and performs well. Like other condenser dryers it takes a long time to dry, but this was not a concern to us at all. You can select how dry you want the washing (eg extra dry vs cupboard dry vs iron dry) and the sensor inside automatically dries it to that level.

In terms of noise, it seems quieter than other dryers. Bosch claims that a full cottons load costs only 42c to dry, and given it is the top rated dryer WITH SIX STARS ENERGY RATING!!!! (who even believed a dryer could have more than a couple?) at energyratings.gov.au I believe it.

We also bought the stacking kit with the drawer and the people who delivered the dryer installed it for us on top of our old washer which was great as the dryer weighs 53kg. If you want to stack it, call Bosch customer support to check that your washing machine will fit the stacking kit. Ours did and it is 6 years old. You really need the stacking kit as it secures the two machines well so that the dryer does not fall off and kill someone when the washer is spinning. Be warned that it will drill permanent holes in the top of your washer.

The lint filter is easy to clean, the condenser itself does not need to be cleaned (self-cleansing) and the water tank needs to be emptied after each cycle. This machine is the newest Bosch dryer, and I am not sure if they are planning a condensation drain kit like their other dryers. Either way, although it would be nice to have a hose automatically drain the water, it is no trouble to empty the tank (just pull it out and tip out water and slide tank back in). I figured that I clean the lint filter anyway so it was easy to empty the tank. There is an alarm to tell you that the tank is full but I have never heard it as I empty the tank after each load. One advantage to the tank system is that you do not have to install the dryer next to a sink, as all you need it power. So if you are looking for a dryer to put in a cupboard somewhere you can not go past this machine.

It is really fantastic to have a load of washing dried on those rainy days without wet walls and steamy windows and lint stuck to the walls.

I love this machine. I have had two Bosch washers, a fantastic Bosch dishwasher which you literally have to put your ear up to to tell if it is on it is so quiet, a Bosch stove and oven and now this dryer. Can't recommend it highly enough. Hope you like it too.
