Braun PowerMax MX2050

The best Blender – I don't know when my parents bought this blender but definitely over 5 years. I used it everyday for making smoothies (with large chunks of frozen/fresh fruit and veg, nuts, ice). All I had to do was throw in all the ingredients and turn it on to the lowest setting and it would power through it all in seconds. It's unfortunate demise came when I accidentally put a hot pan on the power cord and melted through it. So now I can't use it because of safety reasons. I bought a cheap Breville blender to replace it and it doesn't even come close to this magnificent thing. I miss it dearly.

Occasionally had a light electrical smell if I left it blending too long, but definitely nothing that worried me or I found disturbing. Reliable, Made quick work of tough ingredients, Easy to clean and disassemble
