Affordable slow cooker, perfect for two people – I don't use this slow cooker as much as my big banquet one, but when I do it cooks evenly and consistently. Little temperature is lost when I take off the lid, and everything comes out perfect. There doesn't seem to be any variation in temperature from the bottom to the top of the bowl, which helps the cooking go smoothly. It's a slow cooker. It does its job well. There aren't going to be any surprises with it. Cooks well and evenly, affordable

Works exactly how you would expect – This is a basic slow cooker and the price reflects it. The controls are simple to use. The crockery bowl retains heat well. It does what you need in a basic slow cooker. I've been using mine for 3 years, sometimes a lot, and it's never had a problem. I would buy another Breville if I needed to. One thing to keep in mind is the size, at 3 litres it is not huge, so it maybe hard to cater for more than 4 people with it. Simple design, easy controls, entry price
