Breville Platinum

Great mixer, great price – Bought this at Target on sale for $250 including a bonus icecream making bowl (which I haven't us as yet). I was all set to buy the Kenwood Patissier and then read woeful reviews on here and then the Platinum came on sale so I chose it. Very happy with it. It looks good and mixes as it should. People say it's noisy but I expect it to be noisy- aren't all mixers??. I any case its not overwhelming.

It scrapes he bowl as it mixes, parts click in and out easily for cleaning and it looks good. Not as sexy as the Patissier but I'd prefer it worked well than looked good and was rubbish. Good price, metal mixing bowl, easy to use The speed lever thing is a bit clunky and cheap compared to the rest of it but it works ok
