Beautiful cranberry red colour. Works magic. Brilliant result. Love it! – I was given this blender as a gift (in brand new condition, in original box, never used). It is so hard to find it in cranberry colour that matches the colour theme in our kitchen. 60 seconds! Same thing with making puree as well. Very powerful motor.

Having said that, now here are the negative things about this blender: the results for crushing biscuits or spinach leaves are not really good at all. I had to pause it all the time and had to use a small spatula to help push it down to the bottom, so the metal blades can get in touch with the mixtures. Luckily I don't really use it to do those things a lot. So it doesn't bother me too much.

Overall, this is a great blender for making drinks or soups for sure. I love this cranberry colour in particular, truly very pretty. Not sure why Breville no longer makes this blender in this colour. My sister wants a cranberry red one, but she cannot find it in stores any more.

Bearing failed after light use – This blender was great until the main bearing in the jug failed after about 2 years of very light use. Not acceptable quality for such an expensive item. The jug is also not dishwasher which is inconvenient. Show details

stopped working. I took it apart and found the problem. Bad designed seals and low quality Chinese ball bearing. Moisture and bearings don’t like each other and even if it was a high quality ball bearing the same would have happened but just a bit later . Forget about a refund as it is designed to fail not long after the warranty runs out. Happy shopping !

Rubbish Breville Blender/s – Had this for just over 3 years 5 months. Vary sparing use for mixtures such as milk shakes, breadcrumbs, dips and similar. It just stopped with smoke pouring from the motor, doing breadcrumbs. This is the 2nd similar Breville blender that has broken down; the first one had similar use and was also out of warranty. Great blender! – This blender is multi functional with so many options to use- blend, chop, ice breaker, etc. It is great to make smoothies, cocktails, etc. The stainless steel finish makes it have a nice clean finish, so it is easy to clean. Perfect Blender-No complains – We purchased Breille Blender in 2014, still going strong with no breakdowns, no weird noises or no shoddy controls after so many years. Even the paint and button displays are as good as new, Very highly recommended.  Show details

only repair is to purchase a new complete bowl and blades from Breville at a cost of $90 without guarantee on how long it will last.

Breville Service Or NON SERVICE will sell you one for $90 plus delivery of they will sell you a "heavily discounted" new blender, the same model as this that has the same problems etc for $160!!!!! Why pay $160 for something that will last a matter of months at best?

Breville admit this is a design fault and offer a repair.

This is robbery by design without regard for the customer.

This item should be recalled as a failure and not do as designed.

Crapp! Jug does not last more than 12 months – Don't waste your money with this blender. After 12 months the seal of the blade assembly brakes and just leaks everywhere. And, customer service is terrible to say the least.  Show details

Never had a better blender – This unit replaces the BBL250 (I think--die cast base, poly jug and five simple buttons across the front) that we had before, and it was well worth the upgrade. Used daily and can’t fault it! – Used daily for smoothies and used weekly for making raw treats - this blender works perfectly every time. The self cleaning option is a dream and it’s a very good looking appliance. It functions as a blender, food processor and bar stick (this has also been used to smooth soup - once cooled). The suction cap makes for an air tight seal and it’s a well loved, highly recommended appliance.  Show details

good – this blender makes good smoothies and milkshakes. it is a little bit noisy when running but l guess all the blenders are. while it breaks ice cubes but sometimes it stuck if the ice cubes are big or too many, you just need to give it a stir and it will keep on finishing its job. overall a good blender.  Show details

now there is a high pitch whining coming out bearing which hold the cutters in the bowl this seems to be a VERY LOW standard that i would expect from breville my other breville blender went for over 5years and NOT one problem i will not be going to purchase another breville blender if it will only last 30 times of use regards THE LAST BLENDER

i hope this is not a product for MADE IN CHINA if so bring back MADE IN AUSTRALIA OR NEW ZEALAND

Average blender – THhis machine does the job for smoothies, it could be better at blending the ice and frozen fruit, but does it in time just takes a bit longer compared to the nutri bullet.  Show details

Average blender – It’s got a lot of presets there’s one for ice and smoothies etc. it all just seems s bit pointless. A smoothie preset goes for 1minute, but I usually have to do it twice. I think a regular button would do. Also it wasn’t that cheap, but it’s just got a plastic jug. I wash it in the dishwasher which is a plus.  Show details

Much better than expected – Had this blender for just under a year. I mostly use it for smoothies and acai bowls. Handles frozen foods with ease. Sometimes a frozen banana gets stuck and it needs a wobble or poke to get it going again. Pretty happy with the value for money.  Show details

Blenderrific! – I purchased this item on sale recently from HN. I primarily use this product to make smoothies, in saying that this blender is smooth.
