Solid, effective, well-built patio heater – I bought the Bromic for my place in Cygnet, Tasmania. It can get pretty cold in southern Tasmania in winter so I wanted something that would allow us to enjoy the outdoors all through the year. I am pleased to say that it does the job very well (even in mid July) and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good outdoor heater.

This is an excellent patio heater – Purchased this patio heater on-line a few months ago. Must say what a great unit this is. It is well built and of good quality stainless steel. Minimal assembly required. The automatic ignition is easy to operate. Bear in mind, that as the element is a substantial size, it does take a few seconds for the entire element to heat up. This unit heats a large area. The wheels are great and make the heater easy to move around, which is just as well as this unit is quite tall. Mine came with a waterproof/weatherproof cover for the top and entire element. Very handy. Prices for this exact patio heater vary from $200 to over $400. I did my research and purchased mine from Deals Direct on line. 5 out of 5 for this product. One last thing, the base must be filled with sand and not water to keep the unit from blowing/falling over. Excellent patio heater in all respects

how much of sand was required for the base, especially in a windy area?
