Overall: It is everything my little home network needs. It is zippy with all the features of the much bigger and more expensive network printers. Duplex printing is quick and very convenient feature.

Pros: Featuring the unique carbon copy technology, the HL-5270DN mono laser printer is more than equipped to handle our company's printing needs. Since were on a network, it easily interfaces with a 10/100 Ethernet connection. Not only that: it can print 28 pages a minute and barcode capable.
Cons: Not sure if this would work out with Linux. Most likely, we hope it does.
Overall: The LCD-paneled laser printer helps us know what's the page number being printed, how many have been already printed, and the remaining one's too. I call this Brother laser printer a de-facto for fast monochrome printing.
