Brother MFC-5460CN

Great value for money. Still going – Works well. I purchased an updated MFC-J265W but it died. It did not like 3rd party cartridges, which leaked. This unit works fine. Not sure when I purchased it.

Excellent – The Brother MFC 5460CN is a wonderful multifunction centre. I has a number of features including Fax, Scan, Copy and Photo Captures. It also features some memory card slots for reading directly from memory cards. If you are looking for a low cost, low maintenance MFC consider this. The accompanying software supports a number of scanning formats as well as configurable presets for scanning.

ADF makes scanning multiple pages easy and you can scan to mutlipage TIF files as well. Auto Document Feeder (ADF) up to 30 pages

individual ink cartridges for the colours no full duplex scanning - this surely could be added to the software?

rather large and old fashion looking

paper jams on occasions and i needed to send in for maintenance (under warranty) due to paper jammage
