Packed with features – We have had this printer for about 12 1/2 years (unbelievable, I thought it was just a couple of years ago) - we actually bought a second one for the office the MFC-J6930DW about 5 years ago. It does what we need it to do in a small office. Prints and scans A3 as well as A4 and envelope printing. Quality is quite good, even though I have found it to struggle with quality photo printing on photo paper regardless of the settings. I would buy this item again as there are not many printers on the market that have the features this one does, so I am quite happy with it overall. Even though it doesn't jam very often, the one thing that annoys me to no end is the process it goes through when there is a paper jam. It's not usually a paper jam as such, but more of a misfeed where it's started to pull the paper in but stopped without the paper actually moving from the paper tray. You need to go through the whole process of; remove paper tray, pull out jammed paper, open rear door, pull out jammed paper, close rear door, close front tray, open top scanning door, close top scanning door!!!!!! Really? All I had to do was place the paper back in the paper tray, basically move it a few centimeters, but no, you have to move the printer forward to open that rear door, move anything sitting on top of the printer so that you can open the top door etc. Why, oh why, can't I just tell it at the first instance that the paper is no longer jammed? Come on guys, surely you can make life a little easier for us.
