Brother NS-20

A great, solid machine – I have had this machine for over a year now and I really like it. It offers a good range of stitches, and is easy for a beginner, while offering lots of options for a more intermediate sewer. There are plenty of things to like about it (see the pros listed) and I haven't had any issues with breaking etc. It is frustrating that when the bobbin thread tangles, there are quite a number of things that need to be removed to get access to it. However, this has only happened to me once in a year of use. The machine runs really well. The one-step buttonhole is a dream, I nearly cried when I first used it, it was so good. I also enjoy the double needed feature, as it gives a very finished look to my sewing. Good range of stitches, adjustable stitch width and length, one step buttonhole, needle threader, easy to thread cotton, good range of feet included, easy to use and operate There is a fair bit of dismantling to do if you bobbin thread breaks/tangles - see description for more info
