Brother PT-65

Unreliable and far too expensive running costs – Very old fashioned design parameters. Requires 6 duracell AA batteries so very expensive to power. Obviously not designed with modern features such as predictive text, memory etc. Tape in Australia is extortionate in price unit has now got a problem of not turning off so useless out of warranty. Will not buy again print looks good unreliability running costs
Excellent – An easy to use label maker generally cheap to operate. Have had the same batteries for 4 years already with on and off use. Excellent clarity of printing, and option of two lines of printing allows quite a few sizes. Features of embedding text in boxes, etc. a bonus for artistic flair. Ease of use. Clear printing. Labels stick well to most surfaces. Price. A little expensive for maintenance for M-tape in Australia (AUD$25) compared to US ($7-$10), even though tape is made in China.

This is one that I bought through US Ebay (much cheaper with delivery than buying in Australia): BROTHER P-TOUCH M TAPE M-231 SEALED PACKAGES 1/2" W (12mm) I believe you can also buy a thinner 9mm tape, but I haven't had the need, as the 12mm tape is great for me, and came standard with the machine.
