Amazing – First move after 30 years. I was petrified and overwhelmed! After hearing horror stories. Tried my hardest but after 6 weeks I had barely scratched the surface. Along came my 'knight in shining armour' ! Packed us up at lightning speed and in 6 hours we were setting up our new house! Love these guys!!! So fast, light hearted , nothing was a bother!

unpacked. the entire job took only 2 days, finished both days by 4pm, and not one thing broken or remotely scratched or damaged in any way. The guys were absolutely so polite, they would ask if they could use the loo and they set up my beds, nothing was any trouble for them, and not one of them seemed the slightly bit stressed about the enormous task ahead of them and remained polite at all times. My experience was so good that the next time I move im not even going to bother going anywhere else.........you guys were amazing Spot on time, job done incredibly quick, polite at all times, i liked everything Simply could not fault there service in any way

Pick Up, Storage & Deliver – We recently moved from Cherrybrook to Warriewood - pick up Saturday, delivery Tuesday with storage (at our request) over the weekend. [name removed] and his team were AWESOME. Moving after 22 years is a big upheaval, but the Calabro experience was smooth and painless. The removal team were efficient, nothing was too much trouble, and nothing was damaged. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

broke my TV and gouged my bed – i moved from Sydney to Melbourne, got charged for a full truckload but only filled half of it. , everything arrived in melbourne the next day. When they opened up the truck i noticed a few things had fallen over causing damage to my TV and my bed, and a few other smaller items were also damaged. everything but the items damaged, and the insurance was not cheap.The owner of the company was on the job and basically said there is nothing he could do and, not offering a discount, nothing, not even an appology.I think that is pretty poor service. I would never use them again nor recommend them because of the owners attitude. next day delivery expensive, damage items with no compensation

moving made easy – can not give this company a better review, they were professional, helpful and competent. Would absolutely use them again! I received a number of quotes and Calabro was in the middle. We chose their company because of the reviews and wanted to add mine. I moved from adelaide to sydney, a 4 bedroom house, the truck they showed up in was absolutely massive, it took the whole street, you could have fit three of my houses in that truck, one of my neighbours complained she couldnt see as she was reversing out of her driveway. I honestly dont know how they got that thing in our street. the truck was smaller in sydney though, thankfully the trailers had been detatched.

it was delivered on the third day after pick up which i thought was reasonable. the delivery went ok, no hassles there. one thing that stood out was how helpful they were, they couldnt do enough for us. they also had an extra bloke on the job in sydney which sped things up a little, the truck was unloaded in about 3 or 4 hours, i dont remember exacly but it was fairly quick.

price wise they faired up well, it was still alot of money but reasonable compared to the other quotes i recieved. Im just glad work paid for it.

to sum it up - nothing was broken, they were reasonably on time, the blokes on the job were polite, the price was competitive. I would use them again for sure. polite staff, nothing broke, on time, reasonably priced the truck was so big in adelaide i was getting complaints, the load up was slower than i would have preffered

shipping container and then they send it on a train. Maybe the train system works, I wouldnt know, but I felt more compfortable with the road system. I also had an idea of how long it should take to get there, with the companies using the trains, they metioned curfews and possible storage fees, could be up to 7 - 14 days for delivery - i needed to know when my gear was arriving and wanted a fixed price, not something that may possibly inccur extra costs. I needed to know so I could organise my fianances and a time to be home to accept delivery,

They unloaded the truck and tried to set up each room by assembling the beds and putting the boxes in the rooms they were labled. They even connected the washing machine, i was most impressed with that.

The last time i moved was 14 years ago and I hired a truck and used family and friends to help move me around the corner. this time was half way across the country and I had to use a removalist. My overall opinion of these guys is very good, the process was professional and felt simple and effortless, i would definately recommend these guys. simplistic and effortless

if i have to move again I would have them quote – i had to move an office and partial house stuff from Melbourne to Sydney, plus my motorbike. out of all it, my motorbike was by far my most prized possesion, no body has ever touched it except me, then I found myself having to trust a removalist to transport it with a truckload of other stuff to another state. super careful and how worried i was about it. suprisingly, they had all the gear, and put the bike in a big crate. when it arrived it was in perfect condition, not a scratch like they promised, so power to the lads that carried it and thankyou very much.

the rest of the removal was fairly straight forward. all the paperwork and communication between myself and them was simple. they could be more promt responding to some emails though, on a couple of occasions i had to ring to get an answer to a question, not every time, but some time, "I know you guys are busy, but so am i", i really get annoyed with companies that dont respond to their emails.

although i have to travel interstate often to work ive never had to actually move, from all the reviews ive read, especially with the interstate movers i was careful about who i was going to select. I dont know what drew me to calabro, maybe the price which was kind of mid range, they were upfront about insurance and costs, I think this is probably why I chose them, they were upfront about everything. when the quote came through it was just one price which included everything, it was very easy to understand. they did have a kind of "take it or leave it" attitude though, i sort of didnt like that, i am a person after all not just a another job. thankfully, when the movers arrived i really felt like a customer, there customer service on the ground was impeccable and very calm. it felt very comfortable that my gear was in experienced hands.

overall not a bad experience. a few minor scuffs here and there on some furniture pieces not noticable unless you really look. the sales and office could use a bit of work or atleast try to make you feel like your job matters. If I have to move more gear from Melbourne up to Sydney I would definately have them quote on it.

a shout out to the lads that did the job, well done, and "No you can not have a go of the ducati ever" the lads that did the job were excellent, motorbike survived without a scratch office had a take it or leave it attitude, responce to emails was a bit slow

almost cost the same price as we were quoted to pack everything with the supply of all the materials, I should have taken them up on their offer. Apart from the cost of the boxes it also meant a number of trips in the car to and from the storage place, its amazing how many boxes I actually needed compared to what I though I was going to need.

They arrived ontime and worked consistently. They were fairly quiet, didnt say much, I probably preffered it that way really. They arrived in Sydney ontime, everything arrived in pretty good condition apart from a few minor scuff marks here and there and a couple of marks on the front door frame which was a little annoying.

The price was reasonable compared to other quotes, a little expensive for a back job i thought, but I went with them because we had some friends use them in the past.

Apart from a few scuff marks here and there I found the whole experience very satisfactory and reasonably stress free. If I was moving I would trust them again. stress free service and reasonably priced a few scuff marks heare and there, had to purchase my own boxes

very good for moving the furnitures – calabro move me from sydney to country side 2 hours away. they very helpful and friendly men working hard. they have box on truck for clothes, this very useful and good. they arrive to delivery before me and my husband very quick delivery service. if i move again i call calaro again this business very good, truck good and men

pretty good movers – their service is ok. they provided me with a written schedule which came with the quote, all the services were carried out and everything ran ontime. they dont provide free boxes like some of the others, they only give you boxes if you pay for them upfront and then you get your money back when you return them, which would be fine uaully, but their… Read more

company is in Sydney and I was moving to broken hill. the blokes that arrived to do the job were pretty relaxed and chatty but they worked pretty hard. at the delivery end they just rushed through it not tightening one of the beds properly, and some of the boxes were in the wrong rooms, what a shame as their service would have been near perfect. reliable, reasonable price, well planned out schedule, no free boxes, rushed the delivery because they were late for their load back

good the first time not so good this time – ive used Calabro about two years ago and recently.
