Pros: As a newcomer camcorder in the market, that uses DVD to record; the DC10's compact structure makes it very much easy to carry. It includes a couple of AE modes that lights up specific scenes such as evenings, sports and all-white (snowy) conditions. There's a joystick-like control that helps with navigating some of the menus.
Cons: I'm concerned about the battery's location and its capacity. After a sunny beach shot, I've noticed how quickly it drains. Is there an extra-duty capacity available?
Overall: Good looking, great video performance and long video recording makes the DC10 a good DVD cam. But I'm all disappointed on the battery.
