Canon IXUS 220 HS

So user-friendly a child can operate it – My husband decided to get me another brand (Fuji) and after using the Canon for so long, the other brand could not compare. The canon was packed with real user features. There's no mucking around with settings etc... its auto setting is great for most shots. The photo editing software it comes with is really great as well. Easy to use and comes with a range of fun features. Colours print out strong and vibrant. battery life is good as well. It turns off by itself to conserve battery-life. The zoom is fantastic for such a small camera. For the price, i can't fault it at all. I'm going to stick to Canon from now on because they seem to understand the user more so than other brands. Compact, smart features, easy to operate.

It's great – My husband bought me this for my birthday and its my favorite camera. its so light to use and the photos come out so clear the battery seems to last so long and then its so easy to recharge best of all its pink! My sister went and bought the same camera as she saw how good the pictures came out Everything its takes such awesome pictures till i figured out the settings some of the photos were fuzzy of the kids

Perfect high quality point and shoot pocket camera – I have had it for only a week but already absolutely love it. My previous camera was a Lumix FZ18, and while excellent was simply too bulky for a travel camera. The IXUS is very slim and small yet easy to hold and use. Fits into any pocket. It has dedicated video button, the flash can be turned off permanently, and it is very fast to respond. The anti shake is brilliant, the camera produces very sharp photos as well as video in HD.

It is designed to be used in auto, but there are numerous settings in the P mode if you like to do it yourself a bit, but manual controls are few.

If you are looking for a pocket camera, put this on top of your list. Pocket size, image quality, auto operation, easy to use, red colour, bright and sharp LCD screen.

Canon IXUS 220 HS THUMBS UP !!!! – I bought one of these for my wife in November (2011) for $172 from an online store (Digital World International) and it is an instant hit with her. The camera has performed way beyond expectations for a camera anywhere near that price, and in fact is comparable to far more expensive offerings. The performance in low-light situations is absolutely awesome!! and that goes for video as well as stills.

Totally recommended. Image quality, screen clarity, screen size, ease of use, low-light capability, size, colour range, everything really.
