Unbelievably wasteful – This has no "Off" button. Instead, it has an "Automatic Power-off: approx. 8 minutes". From a company that touts its green credentials, what a hypocrisy. But since this is a cheap calculator that will be perfect for children, it's a great way to teach them that environmental talk is just meaningless hype. Here's some hype from Canon's mouth: "Protect the Earth. Support Green. The upper and lower case of the Canon's Green Calculators are made from 100% recycled Canon Copier material. To reduce waste even further, recycled paper is used for both packaging and instruction manual. Instead, it's programmed to stay on for minutes before turning off.

Excellent – This has been a great little calculator which I have had for quite a few years and it is still going strong. It is just the right size to fit in your hand and can be kept in your purse or taken wherever. These calculators do not cost a lot of money but they do last forever. I have never had any problems with it and keep mine close at hand at my computer. The battery power is absolutely superb. Cheap, found at most places that sell calculators, battery lasts forever, just the right size. Bargain for what you pay. There are none.

Excellent – I think this calculator was about $5 when I bought it! I love that it has a flip top lid that covers and protects the calculator when not in use. It is very small, fits in the palm of my hand and very lightweight. It is a reliable calculator that has a long battery life and has not had any faults in years. I take this grocery shopping with me - I think it saves me a fortune by comparing prices well. a very light little pocket calculator. this is the calculator i keep in my handbag for comparing prices when out grocery shopping nothing - it is great value and well made.
