Pros: The one-hand compact body of the camera makes it easy to carry. Besides the low motor noise, you could make MPEG4 movies with this digicam, and its' Canon's first. Their standard still images is only 2 megapixels, which don't mind the common user, for the shots were great - especially when using the built-in flash included and AF-assist lamp.
Cons: Poor battery life and cluttered camera controls in the back, makes it very confusiong.
Overall: Try out Optura 300 (another name for the MVX10i videocam) in an electronics store and you'll get it out for sure why, and what makes it a good videocam to use. So compact.
