Excellent – I've taken great photos of holidays and events with this camera and had good prints done through Snapfish. Not expensive to use, fun and quick to operate and recommended to any prospective purchaser. Excellent quality photos, handbag size, easy to transfer onto PC, fun pics without technical knowledge achieveable. Rechargeable batteries required. Until that was done use was impossible. Regular batteries useless.

Excellent – Bought this for my wife. Got fed up with battery life on the dedicated Battery pack types. AA batteries nice and easy . quick to recover for flash photos and downloads to the computer with good software for editing.camera is lighter than Sony but probably not so rugged. For the money though , very good value and I like canons designs very quick to get the novice going on full auto mode . Then they can get a bit more adventurous later as time goes on.Battery life against photos is pretty impressive too compact, good pictures , optical zoom ,good size screen, easy to use none really
