Chicco Liteway

Excellent stroller – Chicco liteway lives up to its name, it is super light to carry in and out of the car boot for running errands. My Son who is a tall boy for 3 still fits in the pram. The only thing I would improve would be the hood. It is ok for a light weight pram, but could afford to be a little bigger and include a peep window. The other negative are the… Read more
wheels. It does not cope AT ALL on an uneven surface. This pram is designed for shopping malls only. Overall however, the pram is easy to use. Light weight and simple to use Hood quite small and no peep window
Never, EVER BUY THIS BRAND! – Never ever buy this stroller and brand. This is so small that my 2 year old only used this for 3 months! Everything is just so small - small belt strap, seat and width..he keeps on falling off and holds on to the sides to brace himself when I pushed it. He just scrunched up when he sat in it. To top it off, LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE ESPECIALLY THE… Read more
MANAGER! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE. Warranty is only applicable to the wheels and nothing else. If you want a peace of mind - DON'T BUY THIS! unprofessional customer service, they won't email you to detail what they said over the phone (so there is no documentation of what they said over the phone and won't be held liable if you pointed it out their mistakes)and they can't even pronounce the brand name properly ('ki-ko, as it is a Spanish brand). If you did buy this product and are having problems, ALWAYS RECORD CONVERSATION OVER THE PHONE TO back yourself up. nothing too small, belt strap too small, seat is too small, hard to navigate. WARRANTY IS ONLY APPLICABLE TO WHEELS AND NOTHING ELSE
So glad I bought this stroller for travelling – I was due to take my son to the UK when he was 4 months old and needed a lightweight stroller to take with me as my mountain buggy was too big and bulky. We came across the Chicco Liteway in a sale at Babies R Us and never looked back. We immediately fell in love with it and my son seemed to find it more comfy and easier to snooze in than his… Read more
other buggy. I found it easy to push and use on public transport and in shopping centres. Easy to put up and down, small enough to store in the boot of a Micra, durable and comfy (although did buy a soft seat cover and sun shade just to finish it off). It survived 2 long haul flights and 2 short haul flights with no bag and no damage. At 8 months my son still loves it. Fantastic purchase! Light, durable, inexpensive and came with free rain cover Not a huge amount of storage space when the seat is fully reclined and needed a couple added extras (seat liner and sun shade) just to make it extra comfortable
Fantasic – It's amazing I have properly used it yet only just got it but its light as and easy to fold I was going between this and the babylove adventurer but this one was defs the winner!! It's easy to push has heaps of features..basket is average but normal for a umbrella stroller sits up quiet good easy to fold up and down...love it :) Light, good quality, easy, good colours No peep hole but not really important to me
Perfect stroller - newborn through to toddler – Bought this stroller as a light weight stroller for my 5 week old niece. It is PERFECT! We have a steelcraft cruiser, however, it is way too big, heavy and bulky. This stroller is perfect for the shops. It's compact (fits comfortably, with room to spare in a Mazda 2 boot), can be lifted easily - even by someone small in stature, and does all the… Read more
basic things we need it to. However, with the stroller only weighing a little over 5kg you can't hang shopping or a nappy bag over the handles otherwise the stroller will tilt....but it goes without saying that if you want a lightweight stroller this is something that you have to sacrifice, but if you ask me there is plenty of room in the basket on the pram to accommodate the essentials (nappies, wipes, bottles etc).
We bought this one in black - and it's great!!!! We also got a lamb skin blanket for the inside to make it really comfy for bubs. I would strongly recommend this pram for any parent looking for a light weight, compact pram/stroller for a baby anywhere from a newborn to a toddler! Light weight, great steering, handles easily, innovative basket, Cup holder, adjustable foot rest, No peep window, no bumper bar
Awesome stroller – I've been looking for a light stroller for ages. But i wanted a really safe reliable one that lays 180 degrees for my sleeping baby. The only one i could consider purchasing was the Maclaren. After searching and trying different strollers, i'm glad i've come across the Chicco liteway. I wish i purchased it for my 1st born daughter. Forget the… Read more
Mustys, quicksmarts and Maclarens, this stroller is by far the best! great steering, manurvorability, light, layback, cup holder, handle to take in and out of car, lock system, one hand/clip adjustable back rest no peep hold for hood, i wish the hood / canopy was extendable for blocking out sun, the brakes seem a little flimpsy to lock into place
Excellent – Love it. Wish I had bought it a lot earlier. If you are looking for a stroller that is light weight, compact and lays flat for bub to sleep, look no further. This is a great light weight stroller. We looked at a lot of strollers including the McClaren XLR and it seemed to fold up a bit smaller and the recliner function was infinately easier to… Read more
use. It steers well, is sturdy despite being light weight and has good padding and support through the back section. I wish it had a peep hole but it is such a small complaint compared with the benefits of the stroller.
Love it – I tossed up between this and the MaClaren, however price got me on the Chicco and I am glad we went with it, as it's a fantastic handy stroller. It's very lightweight (as the name implies) versatile and easy to collapse and assemble. I keep it in the boot of the car for short outings to shops and supermarkets. Much smaller than our bigger buggy… Read more
so can squeeze easily through crowds and aisles. Love the adjustable foot rest and great bright colours its available in not to mention the price. lightweight, easy assemble / collapse. Foot rest - adjustable No window in hood to see child, basket underneath a little small.
Good – Great stroller for keeping in the boot and using at the shops. I always knew I'd end up with a stroller in addition to my walking pram and this was a great choice. I was all set to buy a Maclaren for the quality, but there were few things about them that just bugged me. Very happy with the Chicco, just hope it goes the distance. Lightweight, easy… Read more
one-hand recline function, open basket (though not deep) so I can hang my bag over the handles and sit it in the basket for support and easy access, cup holder, easy to fold Carry handle came off shortly after purchase but just needs a new screw to reattach, handles no adjustable so a bit short for my husband (who is not overly tall) but no umbrella stroller would be, hood comes off sometimes when getting in and out of car but easy to reattach; wish it had peek-a-boo window in hood but can't ask for everything (and I'm spoilt by the hood on my Baby Jogger city Elite)
Can turn it on a ten cent piece – Awesome, lightweight stroller that is really easy to use both in terms of putting it up / down as well as steering it around. It's highly maneuverable which makes it a breeze to use in tight spaces, shopping aisles / checkouts, cafes, etc. We have a bigger 3 wheeler that I found really hard to steer in tight spaces and even got stuck in the… Read more
Woolies checkout one day. While the big pram is great for long walks around home, the Chicco Liteway is great to shopping, eating out and using on public transport. It folds quickly and easily and is so easy to throw in the boot. It also has an excellent drink holder. On the downside, the basket is a little small, but no smaller than other umbrella strollers. I also find the independent brakes sometimes need to be pressed a couple of times to activate - but I don't think this is a major issue and I don't need to do that every time. The seat base does need to be adjusted each time the stroller is folded out, but once again, I've got use to this now. If there's one thing I've learnt in shopping for a pram / stroller, there is no perfect pram / stroller, but I've been tremendously happy with our Chicco and would thoroughly recommend. Light, easy assembly/dis-assembly, perfect steering, awesome drink holder, looks smart, layback function very easy to use Smallish basket, need to adjust seat each time stroller is assembled, brakes can sometimes be a bit fiddly
Light and compact however always needs adjusting – Great lightweight stroller that is fantastic for the shops, not so great for uneven ground which you would expect and after using for 10 months the frame feels as though it may have buckled a little although is still very sturdy. Everytime I remove from the boot I need to adjust the hood and the seat to put down the feet and now the back release… Read more
bar to collapse the frame is getting stuck. I bought the stroller based on reviews and have never used any other brand, I would expect most of the issues to be typical of these lightweight umbrella strollers. Light, small to fit in the boot, easily unfolded, sturdy Annoying with needing adjustment all the time, basket too small to be really useful
Excellent – a great long term investment, will last birth up to preschool. doesn't take up much space in our small house, will store under cot, in wardrobe or just in the hallway unlike a huge pram. lightweight is nice on my sore back! the best thing about this stroller is that it can be used from birth, unlike most others this saved me hundreds from buying a… Read more
pram too. very easy fold, light weight makes it easy to toss in the boot. also compact enough for use on buses or trains. i found the recline feature easy to use and the five positions were helpful to get the perfect one, it's smooth too, which is great for laying a sleeping child flat to comply with SIDS guidlings for safe sleep not much basket storage, and the wheels aren't really designed for 'off-road' surfaces. no window in the sunshade means you can't check on bub very easily. and they only come in bright red or royal blue trim (if you are fussy about colour)
Good – Love it. Comes recommended. Easy to use. Lightweight & compact. Easy clean & much better to use than my bulky heavy pram. Super easy to fold up & down. Compact & light. Cup holder is a bonus. Easy to steer & easy brakes to use. Easy to remove lining & wash. Hood pops off easily. Have trouble getting it to recline at different levels sometimes. Would like more storage space underneath, but really a small complaint.
