Pros: Folds away well and stands upright on its own. Good for very young babies as an infant seat.
Cons: Many crevices for food to become caught in, hard to find and remove the food. Harness difficult to adjust quickly. Gets very hot for bub in warmer weather, non-breathable fabric. Tricky to put tray away at rear of chair. Difficult for baby to sit fully upright when tray in position, tends to put baby in semi-reclined position making it difficult to drink from a cup. Food gets caught in the join on the baby's side of the tray and you need a screwdriver and a spare 30 minutes to clean it out completely.
Overall: I have had this chair since bub was 4 months old, and she is now 12 months. I curse it every day. It must have been designed by people who never actually have to clean up after a baby's/toddler's mealtime. Its many features certainly make it versatile, but at the end of the day I just want a chair that is easy to use and clean. Food gets caught everywhere, we have even had fruit flies hanging around it in Summer, even though I wipe it over after every use (i.e. five times a day). To clean it properly takes a good 5-10 minutes to take out the cushions, track down and dig out all the stray food, and put it back together. It is very good as a daytime dumping spot for young babies, but when it comes to its primary role as a feeding chair, I would not recommend it at all. We are going to buy a simple Ikea one instead, but we will keep this one for when the next baby is young.
