Creative want to stop global warming so they force your speakers to go on standby every 10 minutes. Thats right - lets saying your playing a video game and go to the toilet - you have to turn your speakers back on again. 10 minutes, thats right 10 minutes - this is the most ANNOYING feature of ALL creative speakers. DO NOT buy creative speakers - they are a has been.

Excellent – Overall if you happen to have a good budget for sound quality and ready to pay little more for better music experience it will give you a perfect theatre environment of dolby digital surround sound quality. And guess what you dont have to worry about the service part because everyone know creative as a company. Creative SBS 580 series is a set of speaker model which would be best suitable for people who want to have excelleng music environment at their place with the best sound quality ever possible. I have these set of speakers at my place for almost 18 months or so and its performance is simply amazing. This is for people who do want to listen to excellent sound system with purity and clarity too. And if these are used with a creative sound blaster soundcard on the computer so will have a blast of a time listen to any music may it be classical, rock or disco any type of music. There is no cons as such from my side. However though its not for people who do not understand a pure sound quality and would consider these as same as any other set of speakers
