Pros: Supported by vendor, seems reliable now and working as expected
Cons: Didn't work out of the box but D-Link support is good.
Overall: Was looking to replace my older D-Link 504T Modem and seperate wireless router with one unit and given my old 504T worked perfectly for years another D-Link was the way to go.
Out of the box no luck, setup disk didn't seem to provide the correct iPrimus settings and the ADSL light would never go solid i.e. no connection. Tried using the web interface, config all okay but still no ADSL connection even though I was using the same line as the 504T which connected every time.
D-Link support suggested a firmware upgrade to AU 2.0 which I did (only use IE to do this, firefox and others don't work!!).
Connected and has worked perfectly since. I think there may be a few undocumented fixes in the latest firmware.
Cons: Resets itself with wireless turned off somehow sometimes.
Overall: This router seems fine most of the time. However I've just had it reset itself for the 2nd time in about 6 months. The real problem this time, was that the wireless setting didn't turn on after the initial reset. Also, I cant log on to the setup page via Internet explorer anymore. Tried calling the support phone number. They helped me do a proper reset to try and get the access to the setup page working, but accidentally got the wireless working instead. To get to the set up page I have to use Mozilla Firefox now. The firmware upgrade they suggested didn't work the first time so gave up on them.
Overall: I replaced my previous modem with this D-Link Modem Router as I wanted a wireless connection. I'm not the most computer-savvy person, but I was able to install this modem myself, quickly and easily. I've had it for about 2 months now. It is used daily, and is sometimes in use for 12 hours a day.
In this time I've never had an issue with it.
After turning on, it takes about 40 seconds to connect to the Net. It never drops out.
I've never had to worry, "Will it work today?" like I have done in the past with other modems.

Pros: Solid security. It's fast. It has very good range and penetration of walls, even in a steel framed brick house. Has operated flawlessly since new, even during the 40+ degree C heat-waves.
Cons: Was a bit pricey, but has operated flawlessly since new.
Overall: This is our current household unit servicing one Desktop, three laptops, a netbook, and a Nintendo Wii. I've seen some other routers fail at correctly assigning MAC-IP adresses, this one does it solidly, if you don't assign an IP to a MAC it won't connect to that machine PERIOD (if you choose to enable MAC filtering option, that is).
