Dairy Farmers Skim

Nicely Packaged – I’m in a phase of watching my weight and this is a great product for it. That being said, it doesn’t have the same taste as normal milk – it’s probably because it’s skimmed, but you don’t get the same satisfaction in drinking this milk. It is also more expensive than other brands which sometimes makes me question whether it is worth it. It is fresher so probably healthier, and you have to store it immediately and not let it lie around.

OK – This milk tastes fine as far as skim milk goes, is nicely packaged, but being fresh, you must store it immediately in the fridge, you can't buy in bulk and boy, is it expensive. Milk is milk and not a lot different tasting when it is skim so my advice would be buy cheaper brands. I like the taste of this milk fine. It depends what you get used to. If you normally drink full cream then this will taste watery, but so will any skim milk. I like the fact it is fresh, although this also has its bad points. The packaging is good-a good size for storing in the fridge. Being fresh, you have to drink this pretty much at the time you buy it and store it in the fridge. I find long life milk more convenient for buying on a weekly basis but this is okay for a one off if you need milk.

Also-hideously expensive compared to home brands and I don't know why.

Good – I only ever buy skim milk as have drank it for many years and you can never go back to full cream after you get used to it. I prefer to buy this brand as I assume it has none of those permeates issues like the homenbrand milks. The best fresh skim milk on the market. Australian product.I assumed Dairy farmers was better in the permeate issues but not 100% sure on this one. This product is expensive compared to UHT varieties and compared to the supermarket branded products. almosrt double the price of the coles brand where I shop (but worth it so I still purchase).

OK – Dairy Farmers Skim is a no fat milk and good for people who are trying to control the fat content of their diet. Its flavour and consistency is average and I find skim milk to be too watery for my tastes and find it does not taste as satisfying as full cream or low fat milk. Dairy Farmers is also more expensive than other brands on the market so it would be best to shop around to see if you can find an alternative at a cheaper price. No fat content. Taste is not as good as full cream milk. Too watery for my liking.
