DeLonghi DEDW97FI

Not reliable – I have a DeLongHi DEDW97FI dishwasher, since day one, i have noticed there is no heating (even though they say there is in the instructions.) Anyways, we followed the instructions and tested all the functions that the instructions mentioned that has the heating/drying stage. But in fact, no function had the heating/drying stage, the dishes came out as wet as when we put it in. Then we asked DeLongHi for service, one week later the service guy turned up. 15 minutes later, he left and said that he need to repair and swap a part, he doesn't know when the part will come. So we phoned up the service, and they said that we might have to wait for another week. This is why i gave this dishwasher and service only 1 star, because there are no lower ratings. Remember that you always get what you pay for, good for me i am renting this house, i would definitely not buy this dishwasher.

Not very sturdy! – Since day dot the top shelve continually comes off it's rollers and is next to impossible to put on. The rail runs on plastic circular dials that fall off all the time. It is very frustrating! In addition that plastic stopper at the end of the arm has now broken! As far as cleaning goes it's great though :) But all in all it's a pretty nasty piece of plastic. Also the control panel is very finicky. You can't start pushing the buttons straight away to set the programme you need to wait until it's ready. Easy to clean and it's silver! The cutlery draw is great! Not very durable. Plastic fantastic. Flimsy design.
