Noisiest column heater I've owned! – I bought this to use in my bedroom at night. CANNOT have it on at night because it makes constant clicking noises! I've owned oil column heaters my whole life and have another two in the house. Never have I had one this noisy. Have included a short video, but not sure the volume can be appreciated here! I've left it to settle for a week or so thinking it might help, but no. Still noisy. Can't use in the bedroom at night.

Great product, but not for bedroom – The timer off option (by the small switch called "manual") just disabled the timer from the working, but does not cut it from the power supply. As a result the timer has this constant non-stop clicking noise. Not for sleeping. Although I understand all mechanical timer all have this noise, Delonghi could have easily adding the power supply… Read more

cutting to the timer, so that to keep it entirely off and quiet. Recommendation: If you want a Oil heater for your bedroom, make sure it has the thermostat, but not a mechanical timer.

Love this heater! – Such a great heater, and we're so happy with this purchase! We don't have a very big house, but our lounge, dining and kitchen are one big open room, and it's heated really well with this heater! We haven't noticed a massive increase in our electricity use (yet!) either, which is good. We've always used oil heaters, so are a little biased, but… Read more

this one seems to be better than the cheaper versions we've had before. Only problem we specifically have is that our cat likes to chew cords, so we have to wrap it up every day, and because the cord is quite thick and the section to wrap it doesn't fit it properly it can be a little tricky - but this is such a minor "problem" that it doesn't affect how much we love it!

Good solid oil heater – Our son's room gets very cold at night so we bought this to keep on overnight. It works very well and heats up very quickly. The room is quite small (3m by 3m or so) but this heater heats the space easily with only one swtich on. Very straight forward to use and works well. A good buy.

Poor efficiency..stick with the cheap Kmart 1kw jobs – Bought one of these based upon reviews that claimed that they really great and efficient......what absolute rubbish, I wanted to heat up my bedroom which is the main bedroom. This heater was average at 2.4kw....got out the old Kmart 1kw....wow the room was hot in 20 minutes where the delonghi struggled with 2.4kw...... Poor rights ups by good guys

Good – This is a reliable and easy to use heater which is quite effective in heating small to medium sized rooms of your house. DeLonghi is a good brand with a good reputation and no hesitation in recommending this heater to others. Simple to use with only two switches controlling individually a low or medium heat or when both on giving a high heat… Read more

setting. Thers is also a thermostat control which is easy to use. If a room is already cold it will take a while to get the temperature up in the room. The heat doesn't radiate all that far away from the heater itself.
