Worst dishwasher we’ve had – Had nothing but issues and now considering fisher & paykel dish drawers. This dishwasher was in a new home that we purchased. Unbelievably unreliable!!!! Do not buy. Becomes clogged after one or two washes and tradesmen do not want to help because of the bad name Show details
No Issues – Mine has been working for 9 years without a hitch. No problems at all. We use it almost everyday and it has never broken down or leaked. Dishes come out clean and glasses do not have streaks. Maybe I have just been lucky but I can't complain about the performance.
Worst dishwasher ever – This diswasher has given me nothing but trouble. I'm sick of the sight of e4, and I'm sick of unpacking the disher that is full because there is an error. The way you open the door causes the mechanism or latch inside the door to malfunction. Then getting the door shut after that is not easy. Worst dishwasher. none Too many to list.
Terrible – A dishwasher purchased brand new from Harvey Norman, only used once a day (if that), which stops working after 18 months, is not good enough. The old clanger which was here when we moved into this house in 1996 - god knows how old that dishwasher was - only stopped working a little over 18 months ago. I don't believe that the Delonghi… Read more
dishwasher is Italian-made. I'm going to cut my losses, pay a grand and go back to Fisher & Paykel. I'm aware that they're made in Asia these days, but I trust the brand. I'll never purchase a Delonghi again. It worked for the first 18 months or so. It stopped working for no reason. It displays "Err3" code (malfunction of temperature sensor or of heating element). It's going to cost a lot of money to fix.
Bad – So sick of having to rewash rejects by hand, not really the point is it? Presently it's refusing to pump the water out and I have a huge flood in my kitchen. Naturally the warranty ran out just over 1 week ago! Life's great eh? nothing much poor cleaning results
:( – I have had this dishwasher for about 5.5 years most of this time it has either not washed dishes properly or has stopped washing altogether with Err2 being displayed now it has finally given up all together have a tech coming to look at it but wonder if its worth it :(
Terrible – This is an update to the original post. This machine worked for six years and then died. Some sort of motherboard problem apparently. I have bought 4 dishwashers for rental properties, 3 Simpsons and this DeLongi model. One Simpson went for 15 years, 2nd Simpson is about nine years old and still going fine and the other Simpson is only two… Read more
years old and is fine. So I am not 100% certain but 6 years is pretty ordinary - I guess. I will be replacing this broken down DeLonghi with a Simpson. If it was for my own personal kitchen I would be replacing it with a Miele - awesome machines. Refer to original post Refer to original post
Terrible – This machine is unreliable and continually breaks down. It broke down after minimal use and needed a new motherboard. Serviceman stripped the thread on a door panel screw when he changed the motherboard so with screw missing moisture can get into controls. Repaired twice under warranty. The Err 4 could sometimes be remedied by unplugging for a… Read more
few days but this only worked twice. Can't get it to work at all now. I would not recommend Delonghi appliances to anyone. Not too many Faulty motherboard, faulty power switch. Repaired under warranty. Regularly get Err 4 (Overfilled - water level too high) and machine stops before rinse and won't start again. Open door - no water in machine. Top basket rollers are forever falling off.
