Pros: Beautiful clear signal through my 25 year old weather beaten antenna where cheaper supermarket brands (eg MTV) glitched badly. Nice remote. Easy setup. Definitely the best in the SD range.
Cons: Had 2 which worked great for the first couple of years. Then one started glitching and the other wouldnt boot up. Installed a new digital aerial which didnt fix the problem. Ended up buying a healing HD set from the aerial supplier which works fine.
Overall: Delivers beautiful clear digital signal where your analogue signal has degraded but is still watchable. May not work with a new antenna delivering excessive signal strength.

Pros: Works very well with old antennas delivering poor analogue signal. Perfect picture where supermarket and cheap brands like MTV glitched badly. Easy to use remote.
Cons: I have 2 units. One 2 years old and one 3 years old. Worked great until I had a new digital antenna installed. Then they started glitching. One wouldnt even boot up. Maybe signal overload. Who knows? Bought a new Healing HD set top box from the antenna supplier which worked fine. Go figure???? Have been trying to contact DigiCrystal for support but they dont anser their phone any more. Strathfield have stopped selling them too.
Overall: Great for the first couple of years. Ideal where analogue signal is degraded but still viewable. No longer available. DigiCrystal no longer contactable so no warranty or support back-up. Better to buy a good HD set like Healing or strong these days which are future proof.
