Terrible – Received for my birthday, and we spent two days with the kids happily watching DVD's on the new TV/DVD Combo. 3rd day no disc worked. We got around to taking it back a couple weeks later. DSE happily exchanged it for another. 1st day disc's worked great. 2nd day nothing. The exact same issue. Not impressed at all. About to take the 2nd one back and get my money back in full this time. Works great as a TV..... The DVD player fails to work after 1 or two days. All discs say "no disc" even if they have been played before

Bad – The fact that the inbuilt DVD player has gone faulty very quickly has disappointed me. My brother had actually received the TV/DVD for his birthday but I can tell he is not all that excited now. His portable DVD player (also Dick Smith) has copped a bit of neglect over the years but it still works acceptably yet a TV/DVD of the same brand fails on the same day of purchase. Would not be surprised if we returned it for a refund and used the cash towards a more reliable TV/DVD set. I think Dick Smith have failed with their TV/DVD set. Tsk,tsk. Umm.....It looks shiny and I guess it worked okay for a little bit. Not to mention that it still works as a TV. The inbuilt DVD is faulty and every disc I now insert says "No Disc" even with a disc which initially loaded fine before. It will not even play Music CD's which have very few scratches, if any at all.
