This AC just keeps soldiering on – Got this 2nd hand in 2010 & I am using it again for this summer 2020/2021. I have 'flogged' this unit for 10 years & it still runs like a train. Even on 40 degrees Celsius days it copes beautifully & my friends are often jealous. I live in a small apartment but I'm sure it could cope with a larger one.

Keeps on going – We purchased this unit six years ago. A smaller option in the now extensive range of portable air con available. The unit ran for about a week on the boost setting without missing a beat. Many a productive day is owed to a good nights sleep with my. Electrolux cooling my bedroom. Never missed a beat Window kit is useless

Great if you are renting – It's been the 6th summer since we got ours, still works perfectly, cools the room, reasonably quiet. As someone previously mentioned, the window kit is really silly, we added tape and blue tak to hold each piece of 'plastic' together which do block the cool air escaping, but when we need to open the windows, it's such a hassle. Cools the room Back window kit

If you need a quiet and effective portable air conditioner, this is the one – Quiet and "not really big unit" are those parts that I like it. Compare to my previous Highlander, this is extremely good to put in bed room. Run smoothly. Nothing to complain but if the window vend would be easier to install, I would give it 5 stars. The hot air still comes through the window kit. I don't know if I can change it or not, but I will try to find. Quiet, effective The window kit is so big and hard to install.

Good – If you dont need portable buy a permanent split system unit(which is what we have also done now), if you need portable it performs faultlessly provided you work out your window arrangement so that it is not a nuisance. Also recommend insulating around the pipe from unit to window as it radiates significant heat. My rating is based on comparing it as a portable not comparing it to split system fixed a/c. It's all about fixing the window arrangement to make it practical. Easy to use, quieter than I had expected, reliable as I have had it for a few years now and zero issues with faultless operation under very hot conditions. The window kit is useless in a modern home with aluminium windows, the solution was a "window blank" made of craftwood/chipboard with the fitting recessed into it. If you try to fit the plastic window kit provided, hot air simply blows past the sash between the fixed pane and the movable pane in a normal window. Cooling capacity is definitely limited to a small area. The pipe from unit to window needs to be insulated.
