Cons: Nothing, except the salt container in the bottom. But once this was explained to me by an Electrolux consultant who actually rang me back and told me how to set the dishwasher up to remove this function I have had no problems.
Overall: Didn't set out to purchase this model, actually was looking for a Bosch. But when the bottom basket runners on those Bosch models just down from the top of the range kept coming of the guide strips on the door we looked at other options. Came across this model and for the price and way it performs we are completely satisfied. Having had a Dishlex before it, in comparison this model is so far ahead of it there is no comparison. Quiet, efficient, easy to use, contents do actually come out of it dry, it's terrific. For those who would like to know, in the Sydney area you set the orange control on the LH side inside the dishwasher to '1' and set the hardness program on the display to '1'. This gets rid of low salt warnings.
Cons: Nothing so far however it is quite expensive.
Overall: We got this dishwasher 4 months ago and have loved it from the beginning. There are so many different wash cycles to choose from which is great to suit your needs. It cleans the dishes well and it is very quiet when it is running. There is a light that goes on when the door is open is FANTASTIC when putting dishes in and the delay start is great also if you put it on while going to bed. I would definitely recommend this dishwasher and we are very happy with it!
Water safety system - inlet hose, overfill sensing, antiflood device, bottom tray

I have a Vulcan dishlex 260SD model and I would like to know how much water it uses on the normal cycle. We have just bought a house with this dishwasher in it and don't know this unit.
