Terrible, and no support available – Emilia distributor doesn't stock spare parts for this dishwasher in Australia. The bottom basket just dissolved away due to use, and the wheels fell off. Because the distributor doesn't stock parts, a replacement basket must be ordered from Italy, taking months. There are other faults such as rinse aid leaking out of the indicator window. Emilia = Trouble. Stay away from this brand. It will fail and there'll be no spare parts.

The dishwasher to buy if you hate yourself – If you like happiness, don't buy this dishwasher. We're at a point where every cycle it goes through, we have to rewash cups, plates, bowls. Not all of them, but more than what you should have to. If you like being able to push the bottom drawer back in, then forget about it. The bottom always falls from the rails when it's loaded and having to lift it and put it back on is actually straining. If you like having a properly sealed dishwasher door, whelp, out of luck here as the rubber sealing is constantly getting tangled in the drawer and falling down. A bonus is that now the metal bits holding the sealing on have bent outwards, getting stuck in the wheels of the drawer, making it impossible to pull the drawer out. We actually had to cut them off.

This dishwasher is beyond awful, and if you buy this dishwasher to put in your rental then you deserve a special place in hell.

Very horrible nightmare! – It came together with the unit I rented. It starts, power is on and there is also finish beep as well but there is nothing happening inside when you open the door. There is not even a drop of water. After reading all the reviews, I realised that the brand is a joke. I will encourage my landlord to report it to consumer protection agency if they don't take an action.

Dear Mr. Upset - please ask your landlord to contact us on 02 9721 2755 to help resolve the issue. The cause may be the inlet hose, but we would need to discuss this further to be sure. Thank you, Sarah.

Rubbish, rubbish, rubbish – This dishwasher came as part of a complete kitchen package. I suppose it must be very cheap as there could be no other reason for a company to use. I have had it for nearly 2 years but don't use it. Have not even used 1 box of dishwasher tablets. I am throwing it out today. Would be embarrased to leave it in my house for renters. Everything. Can't fit plates in bottom drawer. Everything falls over in top drawer. Does not progress through cycle and can run all day if not progressed manually.

By far the worst dishwasher I have ever used!!! used it about 10 times and now does nothing but beeps and flashes. Called the service people and got nothing but the run around. I'm just goint to throw it out to the tip and buy a decent one!!

Poor Performance, Bad Service, Disappointing Brand – Emilia is the worst dishwasher brand I know. I have an EMILIA EDW60SS model and it died already after 2 months. The Emilia service is a nightmare. There is no service at all in Australia, Victoria, and after more than 7 weeks of waiting for a repair any many phone calls later they sent an independent trady who lives in my direct neighbourhood. He fixed the issue just in a couple of minutes and told me that I would need to clean a cylindric strainer on the bottom of the dishwasher every week to keep it running properly. I had a different dishwasher (from SIEMENS!!!) in the past for more than 10 years and had never any trouble and never had to maintain anything inside. But Emilia is by far the worst brand. Further the manufacturing quality of EMILIA dishwasher is lousy, only cheap plastic parts are used which easily break, e.g. I already had to open the front door to fix the start button which gets stuck on a regular base due to a low quality spring behind. Apart from this, my Emilia dishwasher is very noisy and it never cleans properly and there is always a thin greasy and smelly layer on all dishes since I use EMILIA. Just spend a couple of hundred of dollars more and you will get something much better, such as Siemens, Bosch etc. etc.

Low Quality Brand, substandard warranty service,

Absolute rubbish of a dish washer. Can't believe they would even make it. Why????? It is so bad tht I have used it only about 20 times in 2 years. I am now going to chuck it and get a decent one. This was installed as part of a package with my kitchen remodel why, why, why would anyone use this????

Totally agree.....my 2 yr old machine is heading for the tip after numerous call outs , maybe 50 cycles in 2 yrs that have worked properly . Slow parts , local service and generally piece of rubbish . It came in a kitchen package and as I was going to rent the house out I just left it all to the builder . Totally substandard everything about this machine / company service /warranty .
