Emmaljunga Classic

It needs a 4 and a half stars – Lovely traditional looking pram, nice big protective hood, big shopping basket. A bit heavy and bulky, but a beautiful luxurious pram all round made specifically with babys comfort in mind. Steering can be a little heavy, but none the less, the spring suspension makes up for it. Worth the investment.
Excellent pram – This pram is a must have if you enjoy taking your baby for walks. It has fantastic suspension and is well designed, making it comfortable and easy to steer. We've used it for walks on bush/offload tracks as well as around the streets. If you're caught in the rain, the pram hood is somewhat water resistant so baby stays nice and dry. It comes with… Read more
a rain cover which is easy to use when it's really pouring with rain! Highly recommended. Well made, great suspension, easy to steer (unlike some prams that are more like supermarket trolleys)
Got to love it..baby does too ! – This has been used by almost all my children from birth and I bought the added seat attachment in front. It's a solid well made pram and I like the classic look which doesn't go out of fashion. It has a rain protector cover and I purchased a shade net also. Got to love the Emmaljunga. Easy to read manual and I'm sure the customer care service… Read more
centres are good also. The covers except the pram hood can be removed and machine washed. Very easy to manuever
Awesome pram! – Although it took some convincing (my husband was worried about the price) we both agree that this was one of the best decisions I have made! The Emma is so easy to push especially on the many uneven surfaces that I walk on and the suspension is great in these instances also. My baby has slept perfectly in it from day one and is now very comfy… Read more
sitting up and watching the world. The adjustable handle has been great as my husband is quite tall and we love being able to have our baby facing us. The basket underneath is big and we have attached a jolly jumper caddy to the handle for easy storage of drinks, phones, keys etc. I didn't buy the bassinet as the seat part lies completely flat anyway and I simply bought a cocoon to ensure it was cosy for my newborn. I have a lot of comments on how lovely the pram is and how nice it is to push. Some people comment that it is odd to push as the wheels don't turn but this is something you get used to very quickly. Although this is an expensive pram it is well worth it!! Very reliable, sturdy, looks great, suspension, seat very comfortable for newborn up to large toddler, reversible seat, big hood and SO much more! Is slightly heavy to lift into car and takes up quite a lot of boot space, expensive (but well worth the money)
Great for outdoor walking, roomy, lovely to push – I had to have this pram as soon as I saw it! My baby is now 8 weeks old and I honestly love getting out and about. The pram is easy and enjoyable to push, the suspension is so good for rocky footpaths/kerbs, etc, and the rocking-motion is great for a sleeping baby. Great storage rack underneath. Big hood. Plenty of accessories available,… Read more
including toddler seat at the front if you have two littlies. Its very easy to assemble and disassemble; literally pull the side levers and the seat unit comes away from the chassis then just clicks easily back into place. It's heavy, which I would say is it's one downside (17kgs) but when the seat unit is separate from the chassis each piece is half that weight so not as dramatic as it sounds. You do need a big boot space (fortunately I do) but I don't think it's much larger than most other prams I looked at. Unfortunately I didn't get off to a good start as one of the axles was bent (the pram veered to the right!). The shop I bought it from sent it back to be fixed and I ended up getting a new chassis (after 3 1/2 weeks, not the 2 weeks the manufacturer states..), so was without a pram for that time. Then I realised one wheel was also buckled so it still had a veer to the right (a lot less dramatic this time round, however). Interestingly, my sister in law also bought this model (2010) and she experienced the same problem with the bent axle, so it was possibly a batch problem which Emmaljunga have hopefully now sorted!! At the end of the day though, now that my pram is in it's intended working order I love using it and would still recommend it. Great for outdoor walking, lovely to push, looks great if you like the classic-look, very easy to collapse, plenty of space for my baby Heavy, rather pricey (RRP $1500, I paid $1200 as 2010 model). I wouldn't recommend for those who like easy-steer prams (i.e. for shopping etc); this is an old-school style that requires you to push down slightly to lift the front end when changing direction
Excellent – I really love this pram. Even though it is large it fits in our corolla boot without having to take it apart (if I take it apart it fits in better and I can have shopping in there too). I mostly use it for walking and it can easily hold library books and shopping etc. Its great for my boy to sleep in and is very roomy. The covers that come with… Read more
both the seat and bassinette are great and the hood has heaps of coverage. I use it almost every day - having a great walking pram has helped me get rid of baby blubber! Easy to push, lots of space for your baby/child. Seat, basinette and toddler seat. Large basket underneath. Great accessories. Very comfy with suspension. It is heavy and bulky.
