Overall: i've had this printer for about 8 months and so far it has been reliable. it can print, copy or scan. the photo print quality could be better i'd probably rate it 6/10. At around $75 its probably more than worth the money you pay for it.
Overall: Hey what can I say? I bought it at $65.00 and I got $20.00 cash back for it if I am not wrong. The printer was bought a year ago, and it still prints fine. What I like is it has all the basic functions and it does scanning. It cant do a fax but for this price, is a steal. The ink cartrage are reasonably cheap but I believe it can be cheaper. There is cyan, margenta, yellow and black, each cost about $13.00 per refill, $52.00 altogether doesnt cost much to buy a whole new printer either does it? Sure certain colours do run out faster but it comes to the point that you question how many people bother to repair their printers when is so cheap? They should make the cartrage even cheaper! In my opinion, a colour such as black should be just $5.00 and you will have a winner. The ink does run out reasonably fast, you must set your settings to black only when just printing black and white else others colours will run dry.
Overall: This printer seems to go through ink at a ridiculous rate. My old canon printer was far more efficient. It does print very nice pics though. Shame it costs so much to keep going
Pros: This printer has excellent quality print. Individual colour ink cartridges added bonus
Cons: I found this printer to be a bit noisier than others i've used
Overall: I was so happy with this printer that i went and bought my dad one as well. It's printing of photos were of higher quality and clarity than an expesive laser printer i used for the comparison. Instead of just two cartridges, black & colour, it has black, and then three separate colour cartridges - which saves me heaps as i use mainly magenta. The catch trsys fold into the unit for easy handling. This machine was quite noisy compared to others, but considering the pro's, it is tolerable
Pros: For the home user this is a great little printer.
Very easy to set up...and comes with some nice software.
Cons: I am a pretty old retired male..and in the 2 years or so..since I bought it... the only thing that has stopped it printing is...running out of ink.
Overall: This is the first 'Epson Printer' that I have had...and I cannot speak to highly of it.
All I can say is...I will now keep on buying 'Epsons'...

Everything seems to be ok with my printer ie; new ink cartridges, new driver, computer recognizes it--but it won't print out onto pages. What am l doing wrong? -or- do l need a new printer?
Regards,
Susie.

Hi Susie, have you tried removing the driver and reinstall driver? and make sure the printer is the default printer. If with no success, is time to just buy a new printer, they cost as cheap as under $60 nowadays. Buy and throw away printers I call them as the ink cost more than the printers nowadays.
