Epson Stylus CX5900

OK – A reasonable printer running Durabrite pigment ink, which is superior to water based inks. Not conservative when considering the frequency of cartridge replacement necessitated by this Epson model. It's predecessor the CX4700 is much more economical. High quality print Chews through the ink faster than other Epson models

Good – Fast little printer which does the job at home beautifully - easy to operate (have never had to refer to the manual). all folds up into a neat little unit. The instructions provided on the lcd screen are clear and use lots of pictures. It takes seconds to change the ink cartridges. The ink cartridges are very easy to find in shops and are quite reasonably priced. The scanning unit takes a little while to scan in single pages, sometimes it also moves the image around when putting on to the computer screen. Often mis-feeds the paper which means that i have to fix it !
