Epson Stylus NX635

Adequate cheap printer and scanner – It's a pretty standard Epson - piezo-electric - ink jet printer. The nozzles clog up from time to time, but the nozzle check and nozzle clean functions let you fix that easily. I don't leave it unused for more than two months at a time - more might be pushing it. Replacing all the ink cartridges is expensive - roughly as much as I paid for the printer - but I don't do it more than about once a year.

The scanner system works well. and I find myself using it quite frequently.

Photo-printing isn't all that impressive, but I've not tried it with special-purpose photo-printing paper.

Great little printer for the home – I really like this printer. We only use it for very basic things at home, but it always does a great job. It was very reasonably priced and easy to set up also. Easy to scan, copy etc. Don't use it for printing photos so can't comment on that I'm afraid.
