Terrible – This printer is utterly appalling. While it's paper printing is OK, it uses gallons of ink and often smears. It's CD print option appears to have a mind of it's own and on the first attempt to print a CD, will always fail and after much noise and back and forth motion, spits the CD tray out of the rear of the printer. The second try often works, but just as often will jam half way into the machine. It is truly disappointing that a company such as Epson feels it OK to release such a poor product on to the market. CD printing. Print CD software is very user friendly. Very unreliable and often ink smears left on paper and CD's.

Bad – Does a good phpto, but it actually works out cheaper to take your photos to Harvey Norman or Big W to get printed. Printing at home may sound good, but dont bother unless you really like replacing lots and lots of cartridges. Produces great quality photo printing. Good colour display, easy to use and accepts a wide range of cards Expensive to run. Even though for a while I was only printing black and white stuff, it kept chewing through colour cartridges. As this was a frequent occurence, and there are 6 of them, this really adds up. I complained to Epson about the number of cartridges it was going through despite having everything set for black and white - and Epson suggested this was normal!

Excellent – This printer is the best of the best, premium photo quality printouts, you wouldn't pick which was from the printer and which was from a photo, the printer is fast yet doesn't neglect quality. Prints onto printable CD and DVD Disks with a professional look, The printer excepts multiple memory cards & memory sticks including SD, CF, XD, SM, MS pro, USB, printer can be operated without the need for a computer to be turned on. Paper Holder never seems to Jam , even when multiple types of paper are placed into it, eg Cardboard, Photo paper, and normal A4 paper concecutively.

Great Looking Printer also, Silver and Grey finish, quiet operation.

I highly reccommend this printer, Money well spent, Ink Cartridges seem to last a long time. 6 seperate ink cartidges for individual replacement, LCD display, Supports every type of memory stick or card you can put in it.

Fast, Yet Better than photo quality

Excellent – I love this printer. I stagger cheap generic refills off Ebay with the dearer Epson brand and it hasn't affected the quality at all. It has many more features than I actually need in a regular home printer, but it's nice to know they are there when I get smarter. I paid about $250 at the time and it comes with 1 year warranty. What attracted me to this printer was firstly the six separate ink cartridges which makes it very economical to refill. Secondly I liked the idea of being able to print directly to a cd or dvd disc, therefore saving on labels and having them peel. It has heaps of features like plug and print memory cards, removing the need for a computer. Another feature I liked was the ability to print right to the edge of the paper. With the middle section of the lid being black, it shows the dust easily.

Excellent – I love this printer! Purchased off ebay for a good price last year and would never look back. It has 6 separate ink tanks so you only have to replace each ink cartridge as it runs out. This means less ink waste and therefore less waste of money. It prints perfect quality photos with good colours. The epson premium glossy paper is beautiful and works very well with this printer. It also prints directly onto CD and also has memory card slots, can print from PictBridge cameras.

I love this printer and when its time runs out, I will gladly upgrade to another epson Cost effective, 6 separate ink tanks, good quality, prints onto CDs, accepts memory cards
