Pros: Printing is outstanding, and I've overcome the ink-cost problem by using an equally outstanding Constant Ink Supply System (CISS) - but choose your CISS with care!
Cons: Continues to have trouble with what others say is an XP compatability problem. It comes and goes - maybe it's not an Epson problem at all, but it's very frustrating.
Overall: This is the second Epson Photo Stylus printer I've owned, and this one has been outstanding in the quality it achieves. However, the inks are far too expensive, and I've now been a longterm user of a CISS system available from RIHAC, based in Australia. I can buy approx $1,200 worth (equivalent) of cartridges by buying a CISS for around $140. Refills are equally inexpensive. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Pros: Excellent print quality, and fastest inkjet printer I've seen, even on photo quality.
Cons: Has many compatibility issues with Windows XP. Only works intermittently, returns "This document failed to print" error on random occasions.
Overall: The R390 is a good printer when it actually works. Unfortunately this printer is not a very reliable model, as it is unable to print consistently.

Pros: Great printer for photos, and very fast. Have not seen a printer as good as this one yet.
Cons: Ink tanks a very small. run out after about 30 A4 prints and there is 6 of them to replace.
Overall: Great for printing photos but tanks run out to fast for doing day to day printing. You can get three in one for same price but quality is lacking in these. This machine is ideal for the home photographers out there who want great prints at home. These are almost as good if not better than the prints from the shops. Price is about $130.

Overall: The best photo printer in the world, no question. Quality is absolutely incredible, even better than the best lab I have seen.
